MBBS IS A VERY TIME CONSUMING BUT THE BEST COURSE ONE COULD CHOOSE FOR STUDING.OVERALL THE JOURNEY OF 5.5 YEARS TECHES YOU A LOT . 4 YEARS OF COLLEGE LIFE MAKE YOU ACADEMICALLY AND SOCIALLY STRONG ENOUGH. THERE ARE VARIOUS COMPETITION ORGANISED BY MUHS AND DIFFERENT MEDICAL COLLEGES LIKE CASE PRESENTATION, QUIZ COMPETITION ETC THAT ONE SHOULD TAKE PART IN , REGULARLY ATTENDANDING CLINICAL POSTING WILL SURELY TELL YOU HOW TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE READ IN THE BOOKS , ATTENDING COLLEGE FEST WILL HELP YOU TO BOOST YOUR CONFIDENCE AND SOCIALISE YOU . I GUESS COLLEGE SHOULD PROVIDE FACILITIES SUCH AS GOOD LECTURE HALLS ,, LIBRARY AND PROPER PLAYGROUND FOR THE STUDENTS, EVEN THEY SHOULD FOCUS TOWARDS SAFETY OF DOCTORS . INTERSHIP IS FOR 1 YEAR IF YOU DO IT SINCERELY YOU WILL BE ALL SET TO BECOME A GOOD DOCTOR , YOU GET EXPOSURE TO EACH AND EVERY KIND OF PATIENT COMING TO OPD OR CASUALTY, ONE SHOULD ENTHUSIASTICACL ATTEND IT, IT ALSO TECAHES HOW TO HANDLE THE PATIENT OF EMERGENCY , PSHYAICTRY, PANIC ETC. OVERALL THE COURSE IS DIFFICULT WITH A DURATION OF 5.5 YEARS AND LLOADED WITH MANY MANY EXAMS SO IT IS NORMAL IN JOURNEY TO FEEL LOW DURING THE ENTIRE JOURNEY BUT THE COURSE WILL MAKE YOU STRONG MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY.

Food facilitiy in hostel is not that good you even can get different tiffen services as per your choice .

Admission

Overall there is nothing you can do with GOVERNMENT COLLEGE according to your marks you will get the college . But I have chosen this college over other because of City and environment because here you will get many opportunities related to course and for PG preparation also the patient flow is very good near about 2000 per day so you will get a good clincal exposure.

Faculty

4

There are overall 19 departments including clinical and non clinical branches . Starting from 1 st year we have three subjects: Anatomy, Biochemistry,, physiology 2nd year :Pathology!, Pharmacology, microbiology 3 rd year : Fmt , Psm , opthalm , ent 4 th year :Medicine , surgery ,Gynecology Paediatrics ( other Radio , ortho , derma , psychiatry, anesthesiology included in major subjects ) We have very good teaching staff over here , regular lectures and practicals are taken , attendance is compulsory. For being eligible for University exam - 75% lecture attendence and 80% practical is compulsory. Every faculty teaches there own decided topics mostly assistant professors , rarely HOD will rake the lecture except for FMT DEPARTMENT Where Dr . Vyawahare sir take all of the lecture throughout the year and personally I feel sir is the best faculty of College. You can ask doubts regarding lecture and practicals whenever you want everyone is cooperative over here just you have to be respectful to them as we all are in a professional course Regarding examination Every department takes 2 internal examination and 2 viva minimum in whole year on some specific syllabus of that subject And one full syllabus test on each subject i.e preliminary examination 2 papers one of 100 marks and 50 or 100 marks of viva For getting eligible for University examination conducted by MUHS NASHIK YOU HAVE TO SCORE minimum 50 % in college exam then only you can give the annual exam . University test taken by MUHS ON Different exam centre and practicals taken in college by External Examiners. For getting passed you have to score above 50% in the University examination for every year , if you have failed you can give supplementary exam after 3 months , evenif you fail in that then you have to repeat the same year .
