Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is of 4.5 years duration with 1 year of internship. Internal exams are conducted at the end of every semester and at the end of the year prelims are conducted before the universe Exams so that students can prepare properly and be ready for the final exams.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship is very hectic as interns have to work for long hours in different departments. Though they get a lot of clinical exposure and hands-on experience they are underpaid. The stipend is approximately 11k per month.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Fees of this college is a bit on the higher side as compared to other government medical colleges but still affordable as compared to private medical college .scholarships are provided to economically weaker students.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is a bit nonexistent. The campus is not too big. Books are available in the library from which students can readily issue books. Sports & extracurricular activities are somewhat on the lower side. Volleyball and badminton are available. Teams participate in intercollegiate tournaments too

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are separate for boys and girls. There are three hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls at the UG level. First-year students are kept in the different hostels which is a step taken by the administration to prevent ragging.

Admission:

I had been looking for a good medical college with decent fees structure since we all know Medical Colleges demand really high fees. I dropped a year so that I can fulfil my dreams and get into a good Medical College. Despite my best efforts my NEET score was average but good enough to get me into this college. I wasn’t sure at first, however, after going through the college’s prospectus, I thought it would be just the right place for me considering its nominal fees and Alumni groups.
