- Campus is beautiful, lush green, it's clean as well
- Teachers are great! Helpful too. You don't feel like you're being missed out upon
- Practicality is great as well. It's like you're in an IIT.
Dislikes
- Fee structure obviously for once because it's very expensive
- Placements are limited for NON CSE branches.
- Extra curricular infrastructure is a little bad
Course Curriculum Overview
course curriculum is free, you don't feel like you're under pressure, lectures are recorded you're free to choose, attendance has no issues either. Teachers provide a test analysis after results or exam days as well.
Placement Experience
BITS provides internships in Birla, that's really great, a lot of students get placed but only from CSE. Other branches don't have good placements in our college. CSE is preffered, 30 LPA is average and the packages tops 60 LPA every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
tuition fee is around 2L approx, per year, and along with that they take like development fee, caution fee, etc. so 4 lakhs of expenditure every year. Not very affordable but can't help it. SC/ST have a 10-20% deduction in fees based on their marks. Yes scholarships also provided to toppers as well as loan assistance.
Campus Life
We have lots of amenities like tennis, photography, movie making club, I am a part of these clubs. I also was a part of this drone club in which we made drones and attached cameras to it as well. I also play basketball a lot. Student life is great
Hostel Facilities
We have good meals, 4 times a day. No one realy goes to eat the snacks in the evening, Food Menu changes everyday, it's all healthy food, It does seem hygienic but it's just like the condition of all the colleges in our country.
Admission
I gave JEE, i was getting CSE in NIT Trichy but then decided to take BITS because of the crowd, college life, I also gave IIIT exams called UGEEE and VIT, MIT, SRM, and other private engg college examinations. I got accepted everywhere. For BITS, you need to give BITSAT exam.
Faculty
Teachers are amazing, they take our doubts clearly, I love our maths teacher as well. They have such an expanded knowledge base, its the best thing about the uni. Exams are pretty moderate. About 10% students struggle in a few subjects but you can retake the exam.
