Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is well-curated for the betterment of students. However, exam patterns can be changed or revised because right now it's difficult for students to focus on exams as well as placements. Rest everything is pretty smooth.
Internships Opportunities
Very less internship opportunities were provided if at all. No companies actually visit to provide internship opportunities to students. For the projects yes college encourages students to make various good-level projects to showcase their skills.
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty decent considering the outside conditions. The placement cell tries to provide everything it can to ensure maximum students are placed. Companies like Capgemini, Accenture, TCS, Works Application, Google, JTP, Carwale, Seclore and IB visited this year. The highest package offered was 24Lpa while the lowest was 3.5LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee for my college for the 1st year was rs151000 For 2nd year it was rs152000 For 3rd year it was rs153000 For current year it remains the same However, the batch of 2026 pays lesser fees than our batch.
Campus Life
The annual fest called "Verve" happens every year where in Fashion show, dance show, celeb concert, and other activities are conducted. We also have Vemps that is a sport event held annually. Overall the co-curricular activities are held in college in a good level but it can still be improved, especially sometimes the selection criteria for Student Council is rather disappointing.
Admission
I applied to other colleges but I chose VIT Mumbai for its advanced infrastructure and extremely well-curated student experience. The cutoff for my branch was approximately 85%ile which has now increased to 95%ile
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio is good. Teachers are usually communicable, ready to help the students. Exam pattern is as follows: 2 Mid semesters of 20 marks each whose average is considered the final marks for mid semesters, and end semester of 50 marks. I liked the faculty of IOT Rashad Sood Sir. Exams are of moderate level.
