i think core braches are always evergreen.now the trend is going everyone is opt for CSE and there are less jobs for them and traking trhe course they are scolding the colleges .What colleges will do is there are no jobs available . So i feel to take the core subjects wich are very fun in doing problems which are of real life and job are always available .Although salaries are less but life is secure .In life security is important there is lot of fun in labs where we make real time projects which are working models

In GIET there are pre placement classes are available for students who entered in 3rd year . Which help them in accuring good campus and good package. Classes like aptitude ,English, Technical are done in pre placement classes.It is compulsory for every one to take part in the classe with attendance of 90%. It offer a average package of 3lpa to core students and 4.5lpa to cse . It has achievment of best university in Eastern India . Where placement percentage is 100%. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Surya international , Piagio etc.

The faculty to student ratio is 1 faculty for 4 . They are well in communication with the students in clearing the doubts and helping them in various cateogaries like hackathons and different national level competions . we cannot judge any faculty all are good in nature and all are helpful . There are 2 class test & 2 cycle Test and 1 semester exam . marking are very strtict and purely depends on student knowledge , there is no alowance for students to do cheating if found they are taken under malpractise
