Remarks

The college is actually they have an attitude that we will provide you as many resources as possible but only if you want to grow. The programs of the college are not well organised that events clash with each other which is a negative factor. The college doesn't force us to grow or walk in the prescribed way, we can walk in our own way.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is similar to regular Bcom in the first 2 semesters. From the third semester each semester has 2 subjects whose syllabus has been given by tata consultancy services, which says about the practical aspects of corporate life. The other subjects mainly revolves around accountancy, business studies and income tax.

Placement Experience

4

Placements and job opportunities are actually very good in the college. The PRO handles all these things. He is a very efficient person and does his job nicely. He also gives students internship programs which is compulsary in our curriculum, stipend is also good. Personally i got placed in tata consultancy services with a nice package.

College Events

4.5

There are many associations in the college and each association has a fest in an academic year and also each department has to conduct a fest, the commerce department has 3 fests, one is inter class, the other is intra collegiate and one is done for PUC students. And as an overall college cultural fest there is an intra collegiate fest called prathiba and an inter collegiate cultural fest called visages, these are conducted by the Student council.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In first year its 50000 overall fees for the year +outside Karnataka 10000+ second language fees 50000 each in the rest two years According to me its feasible. Also the college says that they dont collect any extra fees during the course duration with compulsion

Fees and Financial Aid

There are a lot of scholarship programs offered by the college. And also since it is a government aided college, the government also provides scholarships. Till now i haven't availed any of the scholarships, but there is a list of scholarships that they will show in the notice board during the year

Campus Life

2.5

The extra curricular activities are good in the college. The college has a western dance team , indian dance team, a nice choir, fashion team etc. In case of sports, the college is under some work in progress so the sports activities are not much active, but iam sure this will be restored soon.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I havent opted for hostel, but the hostel is cheap and its only 30000 per year. The hostel is full of good vibes and activities, which is very promising. But the problem is that only 150 students can be accommodated in that hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumini is strong in the college, they conduct many programs inside and outside college. After course completion there is a fees to join in the alumini. Many of the chief guests of our college programs is mostly the notable alumini

Admission

I applied in this college during my +2 course under catholic quota, then when the +2 results came they kept a cut off of 75% aggregate, and then i was eligible for that and they called me for interview. Interview was merely just a process for clarifications. After that they told to pay fees within 2 days

Faculty

3.5

In our college is a government aided collge and it is going to be upgraded to an aided University , therefore some of the faculties are government employees, but our department comes directly under the Bangalore jesuit educational society, so the faculties are non govt employees. Faculties are mainly youngsters between the age of 25 - 40, therefore the department is one of most vibrant department, but the lack of experience of the faculties is a problem.

The placement cell in my college is okay they do get few good companies for campus recruitment and they guide us thoroughly how and when we should apply for placement they do conduct some sessions and bring people to guide us with everything. The percentage of students getting placement is 50 or 60 percentage. My plan after degree is to continue pursuing acca and then finding a job abroad
