Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Its mcq based , competitive and more on practical based which is good . They conduct exams 3-4 times a year and subject tests every saturday with alott of department vivas. Patient flow is also good. Infrastructure is also good .

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internship is provided in this college itself in superspeciality . Internship is good . Learn a alott of things . And they give around 12000 per month for that . So overall internship experience is good here not very hectic .

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees increase by 10% every year . In my time which was 2019 it started from 16.5 Lakhs then increased by 10% yearly . And hostel fees is 2lakh 50 thousand now . There is no such scholarship here . Based on marks you get admission. And for NRI students its around 30-40 lakhs more . There is donation also here .

Campus Life

2

Social life is 0 here . Either you become sooo studious here or not at all because you dont have anything for fun here . Nothing fun activities. No club life . College fest are also rare here . And strictness for girls are too much like in time of girls hostel is 6:30 in summers and 5:45 in winters . And college gets over at 4:30 so you can not go anywhere

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel is good with attached washroom and 2 seated . Mess facility inside . Water facility. Hot water also but from a common tap of a floor . Meal os okay okay . Hostel is compulsory. They have biometrics to enter in hostel and it feels like a jail . In time for girls is 6 which is very bad . And you can not come in hostel after 10 .

Admission

One of the best college in north India . Good environment. Good Campus . Good study . Near to my home . Thats why I choose it . It is a deemed college and university itself under centre . I choose this college for myself in 3rd round

Faculty

3.5

Management is not at all good. But faculties are good and experienced. If the attendance is good the n one can easily pass the exam . Failure rate is very very less . Terminals and sentups for practice. They prepare you for finals so well.

The course is of very long duration 4.5 years but when u will look into the syllabus you will find very less. There are 19 subjects that u need to cover. And some subjects are even more than the complete syllabus of 11th and 12th. The faculty is okay.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I've always wanted to become a doctor. Every batch consists of 150 students and for every subject, there are at least 4-5 professors. All faculty members are of course doctors with varying degrees of specialization in their respective fields. Their teaching method is through PowerPoint slides for theory classes and practical's are held in respective labs as it happens everywhere else usually. As for now, due to COVID exams being postponed otherwise before the pandemic, exams were held on time. Exams in a medical college are always slightly more difficult than other courses otherwise if you study properly it's not that tough to pass.

The admission is done purely on the basis of your NEET score. A cutoff is declared after the NEET results are out. A merit list is taken out. Upto 3 merit lists are taken out on regular intervals of 2-3 days during the admission and counseling process. I scored 474 in neet and got admitted to this college.

Remarks:

PGIMS Rohtak as everyone know is one of the oldest medical colleges in India. It is also one of the reputed colleges. It was given an A+ grade. It provides quality education to the students who thought it might be lacking a bit in infrastructure and extracurricular activities.
