Remarks

Our college is overall a nice college with decent education and so so extracurricular activities. However our college doesn't have a "Canteen" which is rather negative for all the students. The playground is also not very big but still it's a nice college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

This is one of the finest courses of all the professions in the country as per me. This course is of four and a half year with exams held at every 6 months. The final exams for each year are held at end of 1st year than two and a half year than at three and a half year and finally at the end of four and a half year.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are good. After the course mostly all of the students have jobs. Yes our college has an internship program of one year after the completion of the course. Internship is great it's where we get to practice to become great doctors. Stipend for the internship is Rs. 70000/month.

College Events

3

Events held in our college are organised by the students only and some of the events are: 1. Cultural and sports week 2. Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration 3. Farewell party for our beloved seniors 4. Medico Premier League- Sports days for 3-4 days along with classes. 5. Debate competition on various topics of health and environment

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible fee structure of Rs. 16000/year as our college is a government college for government seats. Other than this our college has some NRI seats as well which are expensive with about 14 lacs/year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college does not have any such kind of scholarship or loan facility available for students. However for reserved candidates government of India do provide some scholarship in our college. The scholarship provided by government of India is a great move for those we cannot pay their fees due to economic problems in family.

Campus Life

3.5

We have great labs in our college. It would not be false to say that our labs are fully equipped with all the best technology available in the state right now. However our college doesn't have much interest in extracurricular activities and sports. Our college doesn't have any kind of courts to play basketball, badminton or volleyball.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are really helpful. Without them I don't think we can even survive in our college. They are so helpful all the time. They help us in hospital with patients and with our studies. Without our seniors we may not be able to pass our exams. They help us financially as well if required.

Admission

For admission in medical college we have to go through counselling in which according to the marks scored by us in an entrance exam we are being provided with the college as per our rank and marks. There are 3 counsellings after the exam and I got admission in 3rd counselling to my college.

Faculty

4

Faculty of our college is great. The doctors teaching us have great knowledge of their subject and they try to give us all the knowledge they have. They help us in all our needs and clear all our doubts whenever asked.

Course Curriculum Overview:

New nmc curriculum is quite clinical based and practical also the practicals in different subjects help us to grab the concept even more. Syllabus is quite vast and difficult to cover. Exam frequency is very high evil give pcts after every topic completion and two internals and two centres and one professional exam is also there.

Well medical colleges are not meant for placements as most students have higher studies plan. Delhi's prestigious hospital groups do come for placements and also offer a bomb cheques to the students but of role that they might not consider.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I've always wanted to become a doctor. Every batch consists of 150 students and for every subject, there are at least 4-5 professors. All faculty members are of course doctors with varying degrees of specialization in their respective fields. Their teaching method is through PowerPoint slides for theory classes and practical's are held in respective labs as it happens everywhere else usually. As for now, due to COVID exams being postponed otherwise before the pandemic, exams were held on time. Exams in a medical college are always slightly more difficult than other courses otherwise if you study properly it's not that tough to pass.

Upto 3 merit lists are taken out on regular intervals of 2-3 days during the admission and counseling process. I scored 474 in neet and got admitted to this college.

PGIMS Rohtak as everyone know is one of the oldest medical colleges in India. It is also one of the reputed colleges. It was given an A+ grade. It provides quality education to the students who thought it might be lacking a bit in infrastructure and extracurricular activities.
