Remarks
The admission process was in online mode. I filled the medical colleges of Haryana according to my choice. College was allotted on the basis of NEET rank and the choices filled by the candidates. I am a general category candidate so I was not applicable for any quota. The admission to MBBS is based on the NEET score. Criteria for admission include passing the entrance exam and the minimum age required is 17. The upper age limit for general category candidate is 25. The counselling was conducted online and after the result announcement, offline document verification was held. After that admission letter was provided to the candidate.
Course Curriculum Overview
Becoming a doctor was my dream so I decided to go for MBBS. Although I am a first-year professional student and I haven't spent much time in college but still till now I have an amazing experience. It's quite an interesting course. The faculty members are quite hardworking and passionate. Internals are conducted from time to time to ensure our learning.
Internships Opportunities
After 4.5 years of academics, there is a compulsory internship of 1 year. Our college provides good internship opportunities. Students are given hospital postings in their internship. The internship is necessary for learning clinical applications of what we learn during 4.5 years of academics. The stipend is also provided by the government during the internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
The government of Haryana hiked the fees for medical colleges last year. According to this policy, the MBBS fees is increased and now it's Rs 80000 for the first year. Scholarship opportunities by the government are not provided to general category students.
Campus Life
The college campus is quite amazing and located in a peaceful location. There is a peaceful, green and healthy environment. Various sports and extracurricular activities are organised in the college. These events are helpful in the overall personality development of an individual. The campus library provides a number of books. It also provides a peaceful place for studying.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are also quite good. Rooms are provided with all basic requirements. Rooms are spacious and airy. There is proper sanitation and a healthy environment. Our hostel mess provides us with healthy and tasty food. The weekly menu of the mess includes a lot of variety. The quality of food is also good as per as hostel food is considered.
