Infrastructure being built right now is really good
Faculty of core subjects is really great here
Event organization and execution is much better than last year

Sports facility is way less than what it's supposed to be in a college
Not many large scale events during the year
Location of the college is a bit off, it will take more years to grow

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is data science so it's curriculum is focused on computer science and its really helpful for the future as it will help me prepare for what's to come nicely, difficulty of exams is there but not that much

Our college offers internship program in the third year, where many companies take students for various roles and projects, both paid and free internships are offered and you can even apply for internships yourself if you don't want to do it from college

Placement Experience

Placements are okay, an average of 6-7 lacs, good companies come for placement, even if you don't sit in campus placements, the college helps you to build your skillset such a way that you can apply anytime

Fees and Financial Aid

My annual fees goes over 2 lacs, college fees is around 80k-90k and hostel fees is 1.6 lacs, my room type is three bedded so it's 1.6 otherwise it varies slightly depending on room type, other charges include the club charges or the event charges

Campus Life

Infrastructure from this year has been great, upcoming projects on how the college will look is promising and the social life is also great as most of the time we stay in campus so a lot of social gatherings and activities take place day to day

Hostel Facilities

Given my room accommodation, the hostel facility is really good, when I joined my hostel it was still in its early stages but now after being built completely it is nice, even the mess quality is great just would like it to be more spacious as it gets crowded easily

Admission

As vit has its name rooted in the college society, and also my brother is a part of it so I chose this over other colleges, also I didn't qualify for the ones I really wanted to so this was my backup and I got in

There are 2 main exams, mid sem and end sem, other than that there are small quizzes and tutorials on which internal marking is done, faculty of core subjects is great but for additional subject is not that good

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

Placement Experience:

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

Whether you should join VIT bhopal or not

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More

Couldn't get much percentile in JEE to get a GOOD gov colleges otherwise could have got IIITs and a few NITs.
