Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Very vast and elaborate, a little overwhelming for students from non deign background but could be said that it is a little flexible to catch up if student is ready to put in the efforts. Overall, course design and structure is immaculate

Internships Opportunities

3

I don't know anything about the internship opportunities offered by this college because I am only on the second year right now and this internship is in the 4th year's second semester. What I have heard is big players in this field pick up some selective students who they think are extraordinary. Some of those names include Hafeez contractor, Charles Correa and associates, etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Minimum course fees for general category is 80000 rupees and for reservation is 38000. Rest others are miscellaneous fees for NASA, library usage, etc. one can avail a scholarship in first year if he/she comes from a financially weaker background as well.

Campus Life

0.5

Close to non existent campus, only two floors of campus, computer lab for namesake, very well equipped library prolly one of the best but totally terrible campus. College in a way demotes social interaction by overloading us with work, only good for academics and nothing else

Admission

The biggest reason is because Rizvi as a brand is very well regarded across the world and students after passing out of this college are well respected as the standards set by the Rizvi education society are just for the best and nothing else

Faculty

4

For every lecture there is a minimum of three faculties and the class of 71 is divided into minimum three groups for subjects like humanities and EVS, etc, but for hardcore design subjects like AD and ARD the student to faculty ratio is 12:1, as in there are 5 faculties in total for all design subjects and class gets divided into groups for marking.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the architectural course because I love designing buildings. The teachers were good, and there weren't too many students in each class. They knew a lot about architecture and taught us in different ways, like drawing and going to see real buildings. The exams were fair and not too hard, but you had to study. Overall, I liked the course and learned a lot about architecture.
