The curriculum that influenced me to take this course is industrial biotechnology, environmental biotechnology, and microbiology. And microbiology is one of the most facinating thing about life. They allow us to practically apply the knowledge and how to use the equipments. The lab areas can be improved cause they lack well equiped equipments and classrooms. More faculties can be appointed. We can take 2 days to complete the whole 5 chapter for industrial biotechnology and microbiology and 3-4 days to complete chemical engineering.

As far i knew INSA a national internship where students with good cgpa is choosen and provided with free room and food and transportation with a stipend amount of 5000 for two months. They may do this internship in any NITs or IITs.

From 6th sem onwards they will come for placements. Companies like IBM, TCS, TATA, cipla, renault nissan. The highest package is 50 lakhs per anumn in nutanix and the lowest package is 4.5 lakhs per anumn. Approximately 90% of students get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to do Mtech or getting placed.

yearly i paid an annual fees of 1 lakh along with mescilleneous fees for my course Btech biotechnology with a scholorship 25% since I got low cutoff. Tution fee is 1 lakh 50 thousand 150000, admission fee is 10000, lab fees and note book fees come under mescilleneous fees. My benchmates fee is 65000 along with mescilleneous fees since she score above 80% in her 12th boards and got cutoff of 80. Few of my classmates from jammu and kashmir got 100% schoorshipand studying free of cost paying fee only for the hostel. There is no merit cause it is a university there is only scholorship.

Every month event will be conducted by each club like pyros fine arts club, tamil mandram , yrc, photography club, nature club and so on. Every year sparkz is conducted an intra college event happens two days where students from other colleges will come and participate. 8000 volumes of books are available in library. On each subject books are available for students reference. Sports badminton, volly ball, basket ball court are available and students go to other colleges for competition and other activites NCC and NSS also take place.

Hostel rooms are provided with cupboards, bed, tables and chairs. There are AC rooms with attached bathroom, non AC rooms with attached bathroom, Non AC five sharing, 4 sharing and dual sharing rooms are available. The only flaws are unclean restrooms, mess and cattering, warden domination. Meals are often found with hair, worm, plastic and they won't serve with a large quantity and behaves badly to students. Registration for hostel is done in official KLU AUTOMATION website. I did'nt rent room or pg outside.

I chose this course cause I like biology and learning about lofe and science, disease and virology and so on. Sice am a pure science student I wasn't able to join other college for engineering. And am also a dropped out student from the course Aviation. I did'nt get any rejection from any college i applied and i joined this college on my intrest. We can apply admission via online, or nearby kalasalingam academy of research and education office and you can also directly come to college for admission.

Few teachers are very friendly and understands students hectic schedule and plan everything according to that so that their mind can't be dumped. But there are few teachers who get on students nerves. They behave to students by their cgpa, insults students whom they don't like infront of others, dump them and make them feel like worthless. I like my microbiology staff cause he is friendly as i mentioned and hate by chemical engineering teacher. Exams would be easy if we plan and study. Learining those notes given by teachers is enough to get good marks.
