Dislikes
- Nothing honestly. Everything is great. Just the Language can be barrier if you don’t know marathi but people are willing to communicate in hindi/english as well!
Course Curriculum Overview
They have an honours program for english wihich you have to a give a test for at the end of your 3rd year. Other than that, the cuttoff goes really high for general students and brilliant people come together in one class so class if intelctual like that.
Placement Experience
There are no campus placements that I know of as I am a first-year student, but I have heard that they refer students. The brilliant students to different companies and the students have to fetch for internships themselves. The college is not provided, but has the teachers do help in getting them.
Fees and Financial Aid
FERGUSSON COLLEGE, Pune BA English FY 3 years Yearly fee: 26690 (for self Finance) Cut off varies from Quota to Quota. The reservation rounds up to almost 50 percent including SC, ST , Defence, OB etc. you can contact the authorities of the college for the same.
Campus Life
The campus. Life is amazing. You get to meet people from all over India and the college is very culturally inclined and all kinds of festivals protest happen in college campus. The students work and there are number of clubs that you can join. for example, if you're interested in literature, they have the literature Labrinth club for made by the English students themselves. They have youth Parliament for MUN's and what not. They have music bands and the best part is you get to have coal ko curricular as a part of your subject, which you actually get marks for, so I think that is an amazing initiative by College And students are very very talented and the cultural programs. Here are amazing.
Admission
Fergusson was my drram vollege since 10th grade, I wanted to get in here for junior college, but Couldn't. And I was very glad that I got it for english. There is a round table admission procedure. I was getting options for Delhi University along with a lot if my friends , but tgey all chose to stay here .
Faculty
The ratio is similar to that of what I had in school. They take 2 CEs and one End sem exam for each semester. YOU WILL HAVE FUB IN COLLEGE IF YOU LIKE THE DEGREE YIU OPT FOR. The ce's and exam paper all come from whatever's taught in class .
