Likes
- They faculty members are very good they teaches very well if we compare them with any other colleges then , they are best.
- There was compulsory attendance percentage of 75% needed which helps the students to attend the class daily and to be sincere in there studies.
- They provide good campus facilities canteen, ground to play , indoor play space , computer labs and many more things.
Dislikes
- Some teachers not respect students. This is what I feel bad.
- There is discrimination between SC ST and general students because the college is more of sc st tribes so they consider them mostly.
- If you got attendance back in any subject then tell will not able to give you the exam's whatever you do then also tell will not consider.
Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the curriculum 9 out of 10 because It helps me to learn many things in different aspects and in different fields which I was able to implement in my near future studies and jobs. It would help me to learn many things theoretically and practically too which also help me to implement in my day to day life. So , yes the curriculum is good enough to be practical and too understand everything.
Placement Experience
There was campus placement in our college with a average package of around 2-2.5 lpa which would help you to start your career and get some expertise in your career and in practical life . After completion of the course you will be added to a group of placement and from there only you will able to apply for the jobs whichever comes and in which you are eligible and which suits you right.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid Rs.32000 for the first year in which admission fees are also included. After that for the next year the fees got reduced to Rs,30000. So , yes I have paid that amount for the second year. After that for the last year I have paid Rs.28000 for the last year of my college. Apart from all this we have to pay exam fees for every semester which was around I guess Rs.2000-3000. So for total it was for all the 6 semester was around Rs.12000-18000. I don't remember the exact amount but yes it was between this range. Yes , there are benefits for SC , ST students they have to pay less amount then General and OBC students. They get relaxation in there fees and in many more things too. Apart from all these our college also provides scholarship to students who have done something good or if they come from poor family or come from Army family they got scholarship too.
Campus Life
My overall experience was good in the campus life here we have many things to enjoy and play . We have canteen, indoor play area, basketball court, cricket ground , labs and many more which will help you to enjoy your college life along with studies.
Admission
I have to take admission in my hometown only which was in Ranchi, Jharkhand and in Ranchi, Jharkhand. St. Xavier's College is the best college from every other colleges so I have taken admission in this college only. I have not applied for any other colleges because here the curriculum and environment everything was good for me and helps me a lot .
Faculty
The faculty members are very good they teach us very well and helps us to understand everything easily and also helps us in difficult situations. Only some teachers will not consider but rest a very good if we compare them from other colleges. My course is for 3 years in which 6 semesters are there and in that per semester we have 4-5 subjects which was total of around 28-30 subjects in total. The passing marks was around 33% which we have to clear and along with we have to get 75% compulsory attendance in every semester then only we can able to give the exams.
