The college fee is really less compare to other colleges when the fee is really high

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is good, but the syllabus seems to be too old comparing today's current world. This curriculum includes 41st semester, starting with C++, Java, data structure and algo. since I am in the final year for me, currently, it's networking. helps in learning the basic things, but to cop up with the real worls, you need to get in touch in your own

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The course i opted is bsc computer science. Per semester the fee is around 5-7k . There is no scholarship but you can wave out your fee if your parents income is less. The fees for self finance course such as BCA are from 30k (varies year to year)

Campus Life

overall experience in the college is Average, the college is more focused into the classes rather they should focus into the activities also, which will make the students life good. there are various clubs in the college, such as the coding club, D, sports club, cultural club, music club, etc

Admission

The college is best for computer science students in the Guwahati city. I choose this college in terms of computer science department which is one of the first science department in Guwahati. forgetting in today's college. There is no such cut-off, but you have to pass in physics maths.

Faculty

my faculty is the computer science faculty. There are all total of three teachers. the student to teacher is 1:20. is semester, we have a exam and the final exam sessional exam is easy. However, for the final, we have to prepare well. one out of 10 students fail to pass the exam . overall in the END marketing system is based upon CGPA

There are different exams for this course in our college, first there is an online quiz for internal marks, after that there is a seasonal exam, at last there is a practical exam, viva and university semester exam occure.

My opinions on PRAGJYOTISH COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspect that influenced me to choose this course is , computer science. I'm interested in coding and programming. The curriculum lacks in preparing you for real-world applications as it focuses on mostly theory part . The improvement they can do is , by teaching students practically more and theoretically less. Because coding requires practice. The difficulty level is average , so frequency and timing of exams are fine .

Passion and Tech knowledge in a bunch

The admission process was smooth enough, during my time it was offline but now it has online admission application facilitiy ,which is very help for students .
