Likes

The environment is good and the teachers are quite understandable and nice
Classes are big enough for some certain college activities
The parking place is quite spacious there are trees all around

Dislikes

Campus is not that great it's like very small
There is a railway cross but doesn't have any safety for the students
Some students are not that great like they're chapris

Course Curriculum Overview

English is something I was always interested in and the curriculum is vast there are lot things about novels, drama, and history in real world we can use the idea of drama to put real play with a help of reference and we have a mid term sessional exams and the final end semester exam

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 4000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees is around 4-5 thousands and the students with a little poor background they have to submit income tax certificate to be able to pay less amount of yearly fees this is a government scheme that was given to the students with a family of annual income less 1lakh or something

Campus Life

The overall experience is great if the campus was a little bit big it will be way better and there are sports events like khel maharan, cultural fest then intra college competition and inter cultural program

Admission

At first I applied at b borooah college but the cut off list went way high and there were only 2 seats for general caste this I can't take admission at b borooah college. Lalit Chandra bharali college where am right now is good the friends that I make are good the facilities are good also the admission process was quick and nice and I was able to apply to the college cut offs

Faculty

The faculty to students 2:3 the bonding between students and teachers are great but there some teachers who ignore students requirements and the best faculty I like are from English department the HOD Is way open to students

Night Life

The cafeteria is one of the best hangout spots the best is a little further from the college not so far like 1km something from there we can beautiful view don't know the host timings cuz I dont stay at hostel or I don't have friends who stay at hostel

Course Curriculum Overview:

The institution provides a vast syllabus prescribed according to the courses . I did hons in english so in my field I had to study a vast syllabus ranging from ancient greek and roman literature to modern dramas The English course consists of poems, dramas, novels, novellas and many other. The course or syllabus is varies with different stage of semester or year In the first semester we had study the follows Greek literature and epic Roman literature Early indian literature In the second semester Roman literature Indian literature In the third semester Popular literature British literature American literature ....... The proficiency of students is checked in the exams where in the first sessional the level of questions remain easy Moderate to difficult in the second sessional and increases the level of difficulty with the progression of semesters If I will talk about the pros of the course It gives an insight of to the vastness of the world of literature which helps the students in different fields. It gives an opportunity to study different stories written by different writers from different countries and helps in to learn the culture, language, society, polity and the history of a particular period of literature movement. It also helps the students to think critically and creatively to utilise it in the real life scenarios. There are also some cons of this course It's vastness can sometimes make students burnt out completely due to the vastness of the course and the limited time frame where you have to cover everything from poems, novels with 300 pages to seminars , internships

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teachers should be cut slack to maintain their mental health. They are not provided enough rest. The exam schedule are not at all managed properly. It is quite hectic and students fail to cope up with it

Passion and Tech knowledge in a bunch

The admission process was smooth enough, during my time it was offline but now it has online admission application facilitiy ,which is very help for students .
