College review about VIT Bhopal

The course curriculum is so accurate to the modern tech trends and is uptodate . Their are tech seminar around 3-4 per month almost every week I think their is no need for improvement in curriculum it's already so good. The frequency of exams is very 2 months and difficulty level is medium

So you get internship from third year it's us compulsory to do an internship and if you have good skills and good CGPA you can also get internship in 2nd year Companies offer internship are meesho , Flipkart, Amazon, brainly, Wipro, TCS etc

So you can apply for placements after 3rd year based on your CGPA You can apply for every company after 9+ CGPA but if you get CGPA between 8-9 you can't apply for super dreams companies Highest package of current year is 57 lakhs and average package is 9 lakhs Placement percentage is between 90-95% You get almost every big company in this college including Google Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart etc Google offerd 4 offers and Microsoft offered 7 offers. This year

So my tutuion fees is Rs1,98,000 per year and total course fees is 8 lakhs (excluding hostel) Caution Deposit is Rs3,000 My college have category system based on the rank of entrance exam VITEEE Their are total 5 categories Fees of cateogry 1-Rs.1,98,000 Fees of cateogry 2-Rs.3,07,000 Fees of cateofry 3- Rs.4,05,000 Fees of cateogry 4-Rs.4,48,000 Fees of cateogry 5-Rs.4,93,000 Their is no scholorship at all untl You scored under 1000 rank in VITEEE exam Their is no reservation quota in both fees and entreance exam

So their are many fests in the college like Advitya , vit fest ,tech fests , icebreaking In library you get almost each and every book including comics to study books The facilities are like ok -ok not so impressive not so bad Their are many clubs group and tech clubs in this college like Marathi ,dance , singing,sports club And Google club , Firefox club, Microsoft club

You get AC and non AC both type of rooms Meal quality is good they have a contract with a very good mess So registration process of hostel is based on hostel counseling which is based on your VITEEE rank for 1st year and CGPA for 2nd 3rd 4th year

So basically I am a dropper and I applied for IITs and NITs but my rank was not good So vitee was my plan B exam and I was able to score a good rank in VITEEE (33,000) . I got rejections from IITs, NITs and BITs pilani. That's why I choosed VIT because it's the second best private college after BITs pilani So the admission process was through counselling You can get cse core branch in category 1 upto 40,000 rank and other sce branches upto 70,000 rank in category 1

So the exams are conducted in every 2 months in order of( mid sem , term end ,mid sem,term end) And they complete your whole BTech syllabus in 3years instead of 4 years and in 4th year they train you for placements Faculty to students ratio is 1:70 Best faculties are Dr Mamta Aggarwal (maths) Dr L. Satish Kumar (CSE) Dr Amit kumar (EEE) Dr vinod bhat ( English) Dr. Kashyap (Computational Physics) Exam marking scheme is relative grading based on your class average. And in every class 2-3 students get failed
