My college

I think my college is going to be among the best colleges in the future when it develops fully. But now it's not that famous. Many people don't even know that my college exists. However, we never felt any disadvantage as all the facilities are good.

The college is affiliated to Anna University. So the syllabus is Anna University's syllabus. The syllabus is quite outdated. However, the teachers are experienced and they give additional knowledge about current situations and technologies. Theory exams consist of ten 2, five 13 and one 15 mark questions.

The placements are relatively better than other colleges. Most of the renowned companies visit the college with decent and sometimes high packages. I'm not sure about internships since I've not gone to one but some of the companies visiting the college give internships instead of jobs.

There are three main events occurring in the college . One of them is the cultural which involves only our college. Another one is the technical symposium. In this we only organize workshops and events which are for the students from other colleges. Third one is the industrial academia conclave in which eminent persons from the respective departments come and give speeches.

The fees are competitively lower than most colleges. This is so because the college has just started in 2014. They do not ask for donations. For students with reservations, these fees are even lower and they also get a scholarship.

I have not availed any of these so I don't know any details about them. But I do know that our college has a charitable trust which helps students who are poor by giving them scholarships. I have no idea about these though.

The laboratories are equipped with all types of equipment in good condition. There is a ground for sports and a badminton court. The hostel students are the main persons using these facilities. Day scholars use them rarely.

As of now we only have one batch of passed out students. The college has just now begun to build its alumni network. Since the alumni network has not yet been started it's not possible to say about it.

Most of the teachers are well experienced and have good knowledge of the subjects. Some of them even have work experience in their fields. The teachers are all friendly and ready to help the students.
