Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Arranging of hack-a-thon which improves the skills of the students.. They also arrange workshop which also improves the skills of any freshers . Arranging of workshops is providing us to grow our skills which definately set us apart from other and we get more close to get an opportunity in the co operate sector. Mid semester timing is of 1hrs which is of 30 marks and final semester is of 3hrs since it is of 100 marks. The areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods are setting up of exams dates not so close atleast minimum time to study.

Internships Opportunities

5

Yes, the Placement Cell is always there to aid the students with all kinds of issues there are and throughout the placement process with its vast experience. This is one of the most important parts of a college and it is perfect in our college. Adobe, Amazon, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, IBM these companies offeres roles based on our skills. They organize aptitude classes twice every week to ensure students are well informed about all the best practices students need to excel at aptitude rounds in the different placement exams.

Placement Experience

5

Last semester that is the 1st semester of 4th year make the students eligible for campus placements. Companies that visit our college are DELOITTE, AMAZON, SAP LABS, FEDERAL BANK, ADOBE, TCS, COGNIZANT, CAPGEMINI, WIPRO, INFOSYS, IBM. Highest package is of the SAP LABS, FEDERAL BANK AND DELOITTE. They offer packagr above 5 LPA. More than 85% of the students get placed from the campus placement. Plans after getting the degrees is ofc getting a good LPA job from campus placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

First year we need to pay ?70,000 as semester fees which include ?60,000 semester fees and ?10,000 as admission fee which is non refundable money. That very semester that is the 1st semester we need to pay ?1200 as examination fee and ?500 as University Registration Fees. From 2nd semester we need to pay ?60,000 as semester fees which continues till 8th semester. We also need to pay ?1200 as Examination fee from 2nd semester till 8th semester. We need to pay the fees within 10th of July and January of the year otherwise we are fined with ?50 for every calender day after the last date depositing the fees. This is the fees structure for BCA which is of 4 years.

Campus Life

5

Overall campus life is strict and may not be enjoyable to a few. But ample opportunities and scopes for enjoyment are provided if you are engaged with the activities. The college has many cultural and social clubs that are active. Fests happen all around the year which include. Cultural and technical fests. Workshops and seminars are frequent too.The college comprises three buildings with modernized structure and facilities. The labs are air conditioned. Basketball court is open to all and library is available for to all 24*7. The buildings are clean and well maintained with modern amenities. There is Projectors in every room.

Admission

I also went to Techno India University to talk about this course but what made me choose Institute of Engineering and Management is that they disciplinary way and their high placement record. I didn't apply in any other clg so I didn't receive any rejections. Admission process is that we needed to come and talk in the admission cell.. Where we filled a form and eligibility was 75% marks in higher secondary exam... Admission test is also required.. for non- technical courses we need to give IEMCET and for technical courses we need have the rank card of atleast JEE MAINS, WBJEE or we need to give IEMJEE. Then according to our rank we are selected for consuelling and then admission takes place. My admission experience went quite smooth and not much time taking.

Faculty

4.5

Students relation with the faculty members are very good. Faculties are approachable...they are always ready to help us. All the faculties are kind and helpful.. But to be C programming faculties are the best. They are few faculties whom I don't because of their too much strict behaviour towards students. There are basically 2 mid semester and one final semester.. The papers are easy even the labs are also easy... They generally give us question from the book's exercise that they gave us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this Course because it is a Professional Course which has more job opportunities than another course. Facilities are very well and good behaved with students. All the queries one student have they resolved with proper guidance always. But I think the number of faculties should increase by the college management to train students on soft skills, personality building, and professional field training. The teaching methods are very good that all the students may consume this if any doubts arise they always teach in extra classes. Term Exams are always done before every semester and it is well standard for a student if they clear the course properly then also clear this no matter.

Remarks:

IEM taught us that at times it is good to tame students with strict rules because that's what makes us stand out from the students belonging to the rest of the colleges. We were better prepared during the placement seasons. And most of the companies had the highest number of recruits from our college.
