Great College Days

I did not appear for any entrance exam. I opted for BCA because i like computer very much and wanted to do something oriented to it.

The course structure is very good.Almost all the important topics and subjects are present in the course.And the learning strategy and learning curve is very good so that each student can get the confidence to work in big MNCs. All the technologies starting from basic level upto advance are covered.

No, but our we had a professional training of about 3 months. That was including development any web app basically, using C#.

Yes, the placement any job opportunities are decent. During our time almost 60% of our batch got placed in various organisations like-Wipro, TCS, CTS, Tech-M. And the placement cell of the college is very good and very responsive. The faculty also present their are very good and they helped us a lot regarding the Interview exam processes and all the formalities.

Mostly the events that is celebrated here are freshers Party-This is basically for the freshers who joins the college for the first time. Teachers Day: This is celebrated for the professors and faculties, those are there for each of the department. Farewell this is for the senior most batches to celebrate the last day of their college life.

The admission fee was 37500. Including the 1st semester fee and after that 23750 for each semester and this continues for 5 semesters. Also there was some exam fees before each semester of 1200. Another 2600 was also there for registration fee. And one last amount of rs 2000 is there for the college dress.

Well the gender, male female is of 50-50 ratio though the number of female faculty is less. And regarding raging this college is very much strict. We do have anti raging committee. The college management is also very strict about the discipline of the college.

The exam structure was semester basis. The course has total of 6 semester. Each semester is having 5 subjects.There were mid semester exam also and it was for 20 marks and rest was for final semester. And the final result was in GPA system.After completing all the semesters the marks will be in CGPA. Other than this for the question paper and evaluation WBUT was responsible.

I went to techno india main branch, which is residing at saltlake city, kolkata. There i have taken the admission by depositing the admission fee. And at that time there were some cut off percentage for this course. So, according to the marks and seat availability they suggested me the college MSIT.

The faculty are very good at their work.I mean they are highly educated and well experienced. All the faculties are very good at their behaviour and they are also very approachable. When ever we found any issue regarding any topics or any subject they always helped us a lot to understand.
