I liked the interactions with my batchmates and my teachers
All were very helpful and coordinating and celebrating
Faculty were also good , they try to make things clear

Dislikes

Studying 📚 was hard because of construction and all
Low level system design wasn’t being taught

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is to the point abd relevant according to the industry norms. The curriculum get us ready for real life problems and for mtech and gate ready Hand on projects is the only flaw in the curriculum The exams are difficult and many back off in the first trimes

My year wise fees is three lakh and 50 thousand , theres is no scholarship as such , caution fees is 3000, i have got a good rank therefore my fees is a little liw , my batchmates have got higher fees than me because of their higher rank

Campus Life

There are various of festivals like , ganesh chaturthi , garba night, Christmas etc... The library consists of self help books that you may or may not find useful The facilities are not too great , teachers use projectors and black board for studying. The student council help the students in varirty of ways

Admission

I apply for srm university, i got the college but I didn't get the cse branch there because the fees was too high and the facilities were also not good. First u have to give viteee , i had got 34.5k rank in that , 60% is eligibility in the college, the cutoff is >1.5lakhs therefore its clearly better to go here if your rank lies in between

Faculty

There's one faculty for every 75 students so the ratio is good , faculty are very helpful , i liked one faculty "Anshu" he is our coding professor he always teaches us from basics and help us to make things clear. There are 2 exams mid term and end term

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Whether you should join VIT bhopal or not

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
