What Students Say

Likes

The senior staff is supportive and helpful
The events are well organised and are fun to attend
The campus is beautiful and a lot of greenery is there

Dislikes

The short of attendance is a major issue here
During events girls and boys are separated
It’s very hot in summers are there in not facility of AC

Course Curriculum Overview

In every semester 3 exams are held 2 MSTs and one final exam The faculty members provide with sufficient notes to pass the exams Even the teaching methods are moderate as the teachers teach what all is required in the exams

Internships Opportunities

Many reputable companies like google Amazon IBM visit the campus and students have been placed here as well As per the internship programs some are without the stipend as well and others provide a stipend of around 1 lakh also

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students are eligible for placements We are taught from first semester about thé placement exams and process There's a DCPD team for the same 60% of the students are placed with an average package of 7LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester fees is 47,600 For the registration a fee of 10000 is demanded which is adjusted in first semester fees if admission is taken 500 rupees for freshers or other events is taken and a fee of 1500-3000 is asked for examination depending on the semester Scholarship is also given to students who give and ace the test held by the college

Campus Life

Freshers is held in September Tech fest is held in October These are the major events held in the college A lot of sports are practised Like football, kabaddi A lot of clubs are included Like the MUN club, DSW club

Admission

This college was newly built and had more experienced and modern teachers, facilities, classrooms and infrastructure so I chose this college over others Admission process is quite easy there are some necessary documents to be submitted and eligibility is also 60% in class 12th

Faculty

Most of the faculty members are really nice, calm, supportive and helpful and they are quite approachable. Exams are conducted by the PTU in our college The difficulty of exams is moderate they are neither too difficult nor too easy and 70% of students Pass almost every semester The course curriculum is somewhat not related sometimes

Great exposure, Learning and Placements at CU- A well rounded experience

Placement Experience:

I am a recent graduate in computer science with specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. i took admission in CU just because of their excellent placements for the computer science students and what i feel is during my journey they provide i'll not say 100% placements that they guys claimed but yes the placement is really good. the average package is of 7-8 lpa and they offered placements globally like in hyderabad, pune, banglore, noida that are considered as best places to work in IT sector. but in my last year i.e 4th year i have been offered a position of software engineer intern in gurugram and that was off campus so i grabbed that opportunity. and there is one policy of chandigarh university if you opt for off campus placement then you get debarred from the TPP campus placements of chandigarh university and you will not be able to sit in the campus placements of chandigarh university. rest overall the campus placement is good.

The Life in Chandigarh University

Placement Experience:

The placement is the one of the strongest region in this college. From 6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. From 4th semester,there is placement training program which makes students get ready for interviews, tests in placements. There are prominent companies who visited our college like Microsoft, Google, Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc. The highest package offered by a company is Rs. 54LPA and average placement is Rs.8LPA. 90% of eligible students gets placements. My plans after degree is to study MBA and get into entrepreneurship and business.

CU from my view

Placement Experience:

After the sixth semester, we are eligible for placements. many multinational companies visited for placement such as Amazon, Google, Wipro and many more. The highest package is 36 lack per anum. Around 600 companies offer placement on campus every year.

A TRUSTED COLLEGE FOR A SAFE FUTURE

Placement Experience:

The campus offers good placement in amazon and other high digital online platforms. The placement completely depends on the rank of the students. Many companies such as Amazon and Birla group have visited the college. They also offer good jobs abroad with attractive salaries. Mostly in a year almost 30% of students are placed in job by the college itself. Rest 50% will surely get jobs in good companies if they have good academic statistics. After getting the degree, I would like to get job in foreign country like America and would like to settle there as the college also offers job in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was ready to choose btech course (civil engineering ).collage faculty was more than i expected. Collage was more friendly. As in the case of students was very good at college. And also our teachers are more friendly in studies and helping the students in studies.During the examination our teachers works well. And they are able to make the students to score good marks. Collage conduct exams as 4 sections in a year.
