Likes
- In my college( kr Mangalam university) the best thing I liked about the college is that campus is on highway so there is no problem about transportation
- There is another thing that I liked about the college is that the exam are not that tough and it is also easy to clear u just need to study before 2-3 days of exam and that what I usually do.
- In my university there are many events happening such as hackathons and workshops as much as you can see a new event daily and many people come for workshops such as Rj Naved has come to our college recently.
Dislikes
- There are many things I dislike about the college such as small campus of around 26 acres but i think college has purchased some new land as they are making a new block.
- They also many arguments running around about the hygiene in the food of college canteens as there are 5-6 canteen but there is also hotel outside and also om sweets nearby the college
- I heard that the placement of the college is not that good but I think it’s decent and depending on the level of your skill set.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is decent as you can expect from Private institutions. It is not on the level of IITs, NITs and top Government colleges but still good but according to me exams are never ending. U always feel like " Abi tho hue the yaar" that not only mine but also many students opinion.
Internships Opportunities
The college mainly provides internships which are affiliated with colleges such as Centriport Global Certification and in-college internships and they both are basically paid means u have to pay . So, I think it best to be dependent on yourself of any kind of internship u want join.
Placement Experience
The placement is my college is decent I think with an average package of 4 - 5 lacs per Annum and that what I heard from my seniors and u can also opt for higher studies and that best option according to me that u can give exams like GATE and try to get in top government college and percentage of students getting placed is around 40-50% from the number of students take part in placements and highest package of all time is 36 lac per annum which college also shows and this year is around 17 - 18 lac per annum
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees in my college( kr Mangalam university) for my course ( btech cse core) is 2 lacs yearly and it increases every year by 5-10% depending on college mood. There is also scholarship for first year base on how much u scored in 12th or Jee mains . I myself get 35% scholarship on Tuition fees which is around 33000/- And as per my knowledge the fees for Aiml or any other application of btech cse is around 10000-20000/- higher than my course which btech cse core. There is maybe also scholarship for 2 year based on your CGPA. I think you need around 8.5 CGPA or more than that to continue your scholarship. And all knowledge is according to my batch which is 2023 - 2027. And for furthermore knowledge u can visit campus
Campus Life
If u are interested in club activity then I can suggest that it is good in my college because there are many many clubs such as robotics,CSI , Personality ,etc and if it's about library than there is a also a good size library with variety of books . To be honest I have never purchased any book In my college life library help a lot than u think
Hostel Facilities
I used to live in hostel in my first year and faculty are decent but the fees is high as much as around 140k per annum now I start living in Flat that that I rented with my friend for 10k per month and my total expenses will around 100k with food. Here I save around 40k and plus. Full freedom and flat quality is better than hostel because in college hostel are all for 4-bed in a room type. So I recommend if you think about taking hostel please visit flat near college they are in 800 m radius of college.
Admission
The main reason for my admission in this college is that it's in my home 50 km radius and my jee attempt is also not successful and the admission process is also very smooth as you expect that from private colleges and u just have pay the seat booking charges if you have given jee and I also hear there is a exam test but I don't know much about it
Faculty
I think there are some good faculty and some bad it depends on your relationship with them if you talk with your faculty respectfully they also talk to you politely but as there is also some good and bad. The exam are not that tough but still lengthy as always according to me but as I can see there is still many students that fails and u there is also some fees for re-test.
