The Review of My Engineering College BIET JHANSI

In E.C.E branch we have to study a mixture of Electrical engineering and computer science engineering. If studies well then we can go and make career in any of these fields. In each semester we have to make projects which enhances our learning and prepare us for future corporate world. We also participate in various councils and cell which gives us a corporate world like experience. Improvement is required in lab classes as most of the equipments are old and are almost predated. So we don't have much experience of the technology being used in current industry The frequency of semester exam is 4-5 months which is very less. We don't get much time to enjoy the college life. Furthermore we have to give two test in one day when class tests are conducted. It is hard to prepare for both exams in one day

The innovation and Incubation Cell has many startups incubated at our incubation centre. These startup requires skillful interns and our innovation cell acts as a bridge between students and startups. The internship was given in web development field UI/UX developer. The internship was given by our startup Ausadh Biotech. There was also one internship in AICTE in Jal Dharohar program. This was also made possible by our innovation cell and we got a student of Rs. 10000

This year our college has a average placements. This is primarily due to recession. But students of this college have been placed off campus in big tech giants like GOOGLE, MICROSOFT,? CADENCE, L&Ts etc. The students of core branches like Civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering have good placement than other branches. Last year almost all the students of mechanical got placed. Highest package was given by CADENCE of 15LPA, followed by HLS asia 11 LPA, L&T 6 LPAetc. The plax My plan after degree is to go for masters in any IIT so that I get a boost in my career.

Fees for EE and IT is 15000rs more when compared to other branches. For branches other than EE & IT, the 1st year fees was around 70,400. And in 2nd year , third year and final year it was around 65,400. The hostel fees is included in this. Along with this we pay 16000 rs for mess fees. The tution fee has remain unchanged since I got admitted but mess fees was increased 2000 rs per semester earlier it was Rs. 14000. The fee includes medical fee of 600 Rs, Identity card fees of 50 rs , recreation fee of 700rs. Laboratory fees Rs600, Library fees Rs 600, caution fees Rs, 5000 , Placement fees Rs 500, semester exam fee rs 900 , Internet fee of Rs 3000. The needy students also fill for scholarship in up scholarship scheme and get upto 64000 Rs thorough scholarships. There students of UP domicile apply for UP scholarship. Those of outside of UP apply for central scholarship scheme and those of minority communities apply for minority scholarships scheme. Most of the students get the benef

The biggest techfest of the Bundelkhand region is INNOVANZA which helds between Feburary to April every year. Innovanza is conducted by Innovation and Incubation Cell of our college which is the best cell of our college. This cell have also incubated many startups. Innovanza we have several events ranging form technical to fun events. Students of other colleges of AKTU also participate under this. Innovanza also gives big prizes to the winners. The other fest includes the Aerowork workshop conducted by the Drone Learner's Club, The Mercenary Motorsports workshop. The college has 4 sub councils which have their respective main events every year like Prabhanjan and Pace are conducted by Sports sub council, Abhinandan is conducted by Cultural subcouncil , Utsav is conducted by Photography Finearts and Hobbies subcouncil and Anveshna conducted by Literary Sub Councils

Each room has one table , one bed and one almirah. Each room has light connection and hostels have wifi router well they rarely work. The mess food is not good. The mess management is very bad here. The fees of hostel is Rs9600 per year and is submitted alongside tution fees. As the college is in remote areas there are not much room one could get for rent. All students generally live in hostel mainly

I applied for NITs and GFTIs but I didn't got shotlisted there. I also got good rank in BHU but since the result of BHU came very late so I took admission here. I was getting other REC ( Regional Engineering Colleges ) but I prefer this college because students of this college has produced good ranks in GATE. To get admission in this college one has to appear for Joint Entrance Examination Mains and then apply for councelling in AKTU university uttar pradesh One could get this college for 80-90 percentile in JEE

The faculty of my branch is good. They really have knowledge in their domain. The faculty to student ration is 6:66 i.e. for 6 subjets we have 6 faculty of 66 student's. The faculty has made our schedule very hectic. They ask for assignment regularly and we also have to show the projects for each subjects in each sem. The marks for projects are 10. The faculty do reject the project atleast one time which makes it very unamusing. There are some really good faculties whom I really appreciate and they are - Miss Shweta Ma'am, Mrs. Shahnaz ma'am , Mr. Atul Kumar Dwivedi sir, Mr. Satish Kumar singh sir, Mr. N S Beniwal sir , Mr. DK Srivastava sir, Mr. D C dhubkarya sir, Mr. Deepak Nagaria sir, Mr. SK Sriwas sir. We have semester exam in every 4-5 month. And in each semester we have to submit assignment, projects for internal marks and we have two class tests of 10 marks for each subjects.
