What Students Say

Likes

The faculty for all the subjects including basic electrical engineering, engineering mechanics, applied chemistry ,applied physics, applied mathematics.
The teachers provide students with all the necessary information they need to know about their course
There is a lot to do other than just your course , you can participate in sports programs which are organised by college itself

Dislikes

There are only 2 lifts and 5 floors which makes it hard for students to get to their next class on time
There there is very little space in canteen for you to sit down and eat
The canteen itself is 10 mins away , and the break is only for half an hour

The curriculum itself is a masterpiece , it not only lets you know about the theory aspect of the course but there are also many practical examples which are taken care by the recruited practical teacher .

Fees and Financial Aid

My course is for 4 years , BE information technology . As I took the admission from open category, my fees are about 97 thousand per year . The fees per year will remain the same and not increase. 1.tution fees : 82579/- 2.development fees : 10903/- 3.caution money deposit: 1000/- 4.enrollment fees:220/- 5.gymkhana:422/- 6.examination fees: 2363/- 7.yuva raksha : 50/-

Campus Life

The campus life here is kind of okay , not too much of studying and not too much of fun either , which makes us students lean towards study more . I would say the social aspects matter when you are free from your lectures and actually complete all the assignments and work given to you

Admission

Mainly I took admission in this college because of its increasing placement rates and it took me a lot to get in than expected , other colleges I checked had less to none placements and actual companies visiting the campus for placement

Faculty

1.The faculty to student ratio is around 1/60. 2. The faculty of all the subjects are impressive as they are doctorate in their own branch and because of this , they have a lot of experience which helps students to understand topics faster

overall review of my college experience

Placement Experience:

placements here are eligible from the 6th sem . companies like tcs , infosys , capgemini , tech mahindra , infocepts etc visit the campus offering multiple roles .the highest package is around 12LPA while average ranges between 3 to 4 LPA . My plan is to prepare for campus placement drive

READ BEFORE YOU TAKE ADMISSION IN MGM CET NAVI MUMBAI. An Honest Opinion on MGM CET Navi Mumbai.

Compared to the other colleges, MGM CET is well maintained and has premises spreaded over a good amount of land area. Campus is cleaned everyday througout the day. Cleaning vehicles are provided to the cleaning staff, reducing the physical labour on them, which is a really good initiative. I didnt get rejection from other colleges, i chose MGM due to the travelling comfort i get as the college is near my house compared to other colleges. Admission process takes only 2-3hours, All the documents are collected in the center, fees payment is conducted and then ID card generation process starts. The students get their IDs on the admission time itself, so there is no complications during admission....Read More
