What Students Say

Likes

The teaching staff is better than expected.
Various companies are tied under the placement service so students have great opportunity for their future.
Campus, Canteen and Play ground are great.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of Engineering college is not quite well, should be maintained properly. There are only Two lifts in the college and one of them is out of service for more than half a year.
Students can face problems regarding their attendance, parents are called for minor things.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is better, there are some subjects which are very useful in our future journey of Engineering and some are just waste. Some subjects such as SOM, DOM,DMS are quite difficult but aalo too important for a Mechanical engineer

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus placements after 7th sem, various companies such as Infosys, Tata, TCS, Mahindra and various MNC's have made offer in the placement for students. The average package is about 3-4 LPA. Every student can get placement as various companies are available for the placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

I took admission in Direct Second year Mechanical Engineering in open category so my second year year fee was 82000 INR, Third year was 80000 INR and last year fee is 84000 including toution fees caution fees and other charges and the students can also get scholar ships.

Campus Life

'Mangalam' is the college festival which happens once in first half of the year, thus various technical events are also held in college. There is a big playground for students for cricket and football, there's also a basketball court and volleyball.

Admission

I chose this college because I got it on my first list of CAP round, my family was too furious about the admission so I went to college and saw the campus and completed the admission. I've never applied to any other college so I've no idea about other colleges

Faculty

Faculty of mechanical department is too good l, every one of them is good at teaching and are quite supportive. Class test are not that difficult if you've studied ofcourse. Mostly 30% students fail and face year drop in between 3rd year.

An Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The Campus placement of VNIT Nagpur is good enough. Students of 7th and 8th semesters are elegible for campus placement. Many companies visited in the campus some prominent names were google, Microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many core companies such as bajaj, HPCL,BPCL etc. the number of offers made was 760 in 2024 and placement percentage was around 80 percent.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

READ BEFORE YOU TAKE ADMISSION IN MGM CET NAVI MUMBAI. An Honest Opinion on MGM CET Navi Mumbai.

Compared to the other colleges, MGM CET is well maintained and has premises spreaded over a good amount of land area. Campus is cleaned everyday througout the day. Cleaning vehicles are provided to the cleaning staff, reducing the physical labour on them, which is a really good initiative. I didnt get rejection from other colleges, i chose MGM due to the travelling comfort i get as the college is near my house compared to other colleges. Admission process takes only 2-3hours, All the documents are collected in the center, fees payment is conducted and then ID card generation process starts.
