My btech biotech journey

I have choose this course because of I am interested in biotech I want to do new experiments in the lab and want to explore this field to related with our world ,but in this university no proper labs food water all are eaten in labs no proper rules which have not followed by faculty also they just have all the things for showcase . They never allow to touch the instruments to the students . I don't even learn how to use th instruments because they never permit they only use the instruments for the faculty projects and take the money from government in the name of project

I have paid 1st year:- 176000 , 2nd year :- 181000 , 3rd year :- 186000 , 4th year :- 191000 Registration fee :- 1000 College provides some amount of scholarship who have no government service support in their background. And if you have good percentage in 10th 12th and good percentile in jee exam then some of the amount given to you by college as a scholarship My batchmates have the same fee which I have mentioned, but if you have 8 or more than 8 cpi in every semester then you have another chance to grab scholarship during the college years. UP Scholarship National Scholarship approx 66000 they give to you it changes very year

If I talk about my campus life then it is excellent because the University has many clubs in the campus you can join them learn so many things from them and organzaise so many fests They are not provide high level fests if your expectations are to meet with big name singer s or Bollywood stars in the fest then this place is not for you They have average number to organise fest like dandiya night , Spandana and many more Ganesh chaturthi janmashtami, Holi these are some festivals which is celebrate in University campus hostels

When you take information about admission then they also brief you about hostel I am the one who choose the hostel but I have no regrets about the hostel . Some things have pros and cons both. So when you take hostel on my time there is no allowance for girls after 6:45 pm in campus to go there this time changes with season. But boys have full freedom to go anytime and girls have only two days Saturday Sunday to go out from campus. Menu are changes according to the girls wishes in mess . They provide you to speak about food in mess committee meeting where you can speak your points about food and mess. Otherwise mess food is tasty and good in comparison to other private colleges even in government which i have experiences and they also provide specials foods on festivals and every Sunday has special food . There is one things which I have faced hostel don't have good management staff like they don't have good wardens who can manage the things wisely. This is the worst thing I have expe

I have choose this college because it is near from my hometown and my parents don't want that I go to very far from them and the other thing is on that time I am in btech biotechnology first batch so everyone thought that it is the first batch so they provide good placement and good no. of companies in the campus but nothing like our expectations. I don't have any rejection because I don't try for any other colleges this is my biggest mistake ever. Admission process is simple you have to call the admission counsellor numbers are given to you on the site of GLA University you have to just call on that number then they explain you whole procedure. They take your exam for the formality and then tell you the result that you are passed and eligible for admission then you have to submit your fee it depends on you that you want to submit the fee full year or per semester

Faculty ratio is less in comparison to students . In the department of biotechnology there is no specific faculty for specific subjects . And they only fullfil their formality in the class The most favourite thing of the faculties are time pass in the class and at the end you have to study yourself and passed the exam with the help of you tube. The faculty which I have found good is Mr Himanshu Gupta . He is the only one in the department which have good knowledge. I don't have personal grudges with any of the faculty but i just have one complain the biotechnology is the subject which have practical more tha theory but they mostly focus on theoretical rather than practical Every year has 2 semester and in 1 semester there is two time of exam one is PA exams and another is main exam which have the problem of backlog some students face. Exam level is moderate if you study then you will clear the exam otherwise you have to face the backlogs mostly students face backlogs in the first yea

Yes ,i have faced the video call interview because that time was covid that's why I give interview they asked me the questions from my stream like I am pcb student and I choose biotechnology so they ask some basic questions from biology which you have studied in 10th 12th Then after finish your interview they cut the call and call after sometime to declare your result and they brief you about admission process I have prepared like I have revised my 11th 12th notes
