Likes

The teachers are friendly and are ready to support you
The societies are good and will help improving your overall personality
The attendance issue is not really here helping students prepare better for exams beyond college

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not really upto the mark
The washrooms and classrooms needs upgrade
Student to classes ratio is quiet low ! Need to wait outside the classroom

My BBE course is kinda tought as compared to other similarly courses You have MATHS almost ever Odd Semister making it tough for people who dont have a hold of it !! Its more theoretically inclinedd and less of Practical !!

Usually Internships from Social Clubs and NGOs come in the college ! There was an internship drive in winters but nobody got good internship ! Internship cell is not really good You can most prob take internship in other mode beyond college

After the 4th semister is over the placement drive starts ! Some companies are KPMG,EY,Delloite,Bain&Company,Accenture,DEShaw and other big Companies Alsoo Startups come for placement Highest salary offered till now was 22.2LPA but nobody got selected average goes to 3.5LPA 80% students who apply for placement get placed I would apply for Placement after completing

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is 46500 for 2nd year students to pursue BBE in Gargi College ! If you are not from Delhi the expense for living goes higher Students do get scholarships based on the income of the family I haven't come across any reserved scholarships

Campus Life

Reverie is the annually fest of Gargii famous singers come to join us last year was Nikhil D'Souza! There is a two floor library and thousands of book available Classrooms are pretty much oldschool with a whiteboard and project which doesn't really work Overall Extracurricular is good our college has a big field Many clubs are present

Admission

I just applied to Delhi University and I got Gargi College its amog the top 3 colleges in DU for my course ! The admission process is we need to give CUET and the acceptance rate is pretty good ! If you've studied well in 12th you cab do good and Maths and English is compulsory in 12th

Faculty

I dont know about other departments butt our department is really good The faculty to student relation is overall fine the teachers are chill Our Economics Maam is the bestt always ready to help There was a Maths teacher she left latelyy she had the attitude of I am the teacher i can do whatever I wantt The exams are pretty muchhh moderate level If yoh study a week ahead you can most prob get good gradess and PYQs are a mustt

THE ALL ROUNDER

Likes

The college has a very beautiful greeny campus.
The library is just the best thing that the college has , it is the largest in du, with computers study area all books and magazines newspaper and other necessities.
The students and teachers are very kind helpful ambitious and intelligent , you will learn a lot here.

Dislikes

The administration sometimes works too slowly regarding dew things.
The canteen is very big and food is also nice but in rain water gets concentrated there.

Placement Experience:

it is said that the placements of this college are good and average being 10LPA and 17 LPA the highest. Many companies come for the placement drive every year and many of seniors have got placement in their third year.

Likes

I liked the Vibe of the Campus and Culture
I liked the faculties and Curriculam like inclusion of Case studies
I liked the way college encourage students to be a part of Social activities

Placement Experience:

Placments here are good , Reputed Companies here visit campus offering great packages like Asian paints and MRF. They also help student in preparing for the Placements by organizing variouas events and sessions

Likes

teaching faculty and curriculum of the college
research and business analytics is the first batch to get placed
seniors are supportive and friendly with juniors

Dislikes

campus has limited sports facility and activities.
there is no residential campus vibes as it is very small
college ROI is very poor as the fees is high

Placement Experience:

from third semister students get eligible for placement and the avg package is 12.5 and median is 11 and highest is 24.There is 90% placement record.MARCH, DELLOIT, ACCENTURE, TECH MAHINDRA are the few reputed companies coming into the campus.

M.A. POLITICAL SCIENCE IN DRC

Likes

We don't have classes in our respective colleges in masters . We have our classes in faculty of social science which is just opposite to drc building and the good thing is all students around 300 of study in same class together .
Great infrastructure, ac installed in the fss and satyakam building.
Highly qualified faculty and helpful throughout the course.

Dislikes

Since our classes are held in faculty of social sciences building and not in respective colleges so we don't get to experience the exposure of our colleges .
But what I have seen in drc while visiting for documentation work, the infrastructure is not really great and but they are building new ones and trying to make in better.
Fee is too high compared to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of our course offers various branches of political science, like comparative politics, political theory, international relations, security studies, gender and ir, public administration, indian polity , social exclusion, etc which enriches your understanding of the domestic and international politics.

College and my 1st year

Likes

All girls college not male allowed in there without permission so everything feels right and safe
Conducts annual fests to change the vibe
Gotta know different types of people from different places

Dislikes

Student often get used to bad habits like smoking and drinking
To many protests everyone is doing protest even for the smallest inconvenience
Some teachers doesn't complete the syllabus they left it and students have to study on their own

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially I wanted to choose physics honours with somehow I felt physics will get me to hard as per by 12 so I choose chemistry honours over physics honours and as if I am doing bsc so yeah it is giving me all the Chemistry by and I feeling alrighting am a learning will help me for job one day the classroom here are very small and very uncomfortable to set and study only thing for teaching I want to change for my department is the classrooms and examination schedule date sheet is also very bad for Delhi University like they change the date sheet 4 to 5 times within a month and till the one is not confirmed so yeah that's things

Moments of happiness

Likes

I liked the ration of girls and boys it's almost same .
The teaching method of teachers and the library.
College infrastructure and various opportunities and sports ground .

Dislikes

Events in college are usually too short like till 5 pm only .
Classes starts at 8:40 in winters atleast it should start by 10 .

Placement Experience:

English hons is not a course in which placement is that widespread as far as I'm aware . But our college provides placements for other courses like b.com etc and we have placement cell which keeps updating us on internship or placement opportunities and overall package is quite good .

college provide good placements. Recently companies like deloite, paytm, zepto, agile, insplore and many more companies visited in campus. only 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement. Average package company offered is 500000. as for internships only 5th semester in 2nd year are eligible for applying in internships.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.
