My own 4 year experience in BNMIT.

I studied for vtu where as now the college is autonomous and i did computer science engineering which was so outdated course in terms of syllabus where as now the syllabus is better comparatively still not so good but I can say better for sure.

The time when I was a student there fee structure was quite high for outsiders but it was ok since it's Bangalore and it's costly so understandable but now when I passed out of the college the price is almost double of what we use to give and the facilities and education level has dropped too much also placements have dropped by almost 70-80% since the college has become autonomous

There are many clubs but non of them is actually useful to students in improving their performance ,personality or anything is useless just for namesake. Sports activities are not at all organised also there's no ground there's no coach

Hostel food is worste sometimes cockroach and found in food even i found once in my food the girls hostel is in campus only but for boys the hostel is 3 km far they provide bus but only one at morning one at evening if you miss it or didn't get the space then have to go by own also everyone's class timings are different but only one bus is provided.

I was not much aware of this college much and also this college show themselves as if they are really good college by keeping the rank cutoff pretty high and high fees where as any the inside story is totally different colleges like CMRIT,DSE, Acharya institute of technology are few collages which are far better in many aspects like infrastructure, quality of education, placements, sports.we can't even compare colleges like RV,BMS,RNS, Ramaiya,SIT to this they are far more better

The college faculty is not so qualified for the course like engeneering other than few teachers wouldn't be able to solve your doubts and they just came prepared for class and teaches what ever they have written in the notes also they are not at all aware of upcoming technologies.
