Likes

Good infrastructure and a clean campus ,teachers were very resourceful in acaedmic life as well as socialy,teachers take a keen interest in every students thoer zeal for teaching is great and very creative
Socialy the college provides students with enough platforms for character development over the course of the programme ,its a great way to boost and build confidence of students
The academic life isnt just about studying ,studnts are encouraged for other coxurricular activities which i liked

Dislikes

The administration is very strict no one can bend the discipline more stricter than schools
the gate closes after assembely which makes students unable to leave
attendence is very central and very strict penalties for violation

The curriculum is strictly based on academic and scholar life in my opinion everone is focuesd on pursuing degree's ,I think students should be encouraged to try other ventures in life too , dignity of labour should be the motto

total fees was 37k split into two installments ,with the recent increment of 5k beacuse they follow the new rule of NEP which makes a 4year ug course and scholarship was available not through the institute but by govt

Overall my college life was best socialy and academicaly ,made lot of friends and had good times ,yes college does provide you with various clubs such ass Media Club ,NSS,NCC,Art club etc and we had a. proper basketball and badminton court as well as a basic gym and a football ground ,everything is taught by smart ways using projectors and all

Admission

I applied for St Anthony's college ,Shillong and got selected too but had then I decided to study in my own state , I was already enrolled in another college arya vidyapeeth college guwahati during 2019 but then corona came so I decided to take some time off and think what I want to next because I was not satisfied with the way things were going, you have to atleast secure a minimu of 50 % aggregate in 12th for taking admission ,you dont need to take entrance for admission

Overall the faculties are very good from teaching to non teaching staff everyone is good ,a year is divided into two semester examination and a semester exam has two internal test which are very crucial in larning process

my college review

Likes

there is no racial discrimination in the college
the academic support in the cultural activities
the college also sport are also supported by the college

Dislikes

the infrastructure are divided some department have good infrastructure like bench desk and some department does have good infrastructure
the student have to struggle in some cases like when the student have to wait for long time in a line for the admitcard and and the result in office which is outside the college in hot weather and in the cold weather
in some cases the teacher do not take responsibilities like some officials mistakes they themselves give the responsibilities to the correct the case to student and they tell the student to meet the academic head RGU and solve the problem

Placement Experience:

there is no placement in college which i know till because i didn't have any information about the college about the placement. and no i didn't know any company which have visited to the college if any company had visited the company i have known

Our faculty are very friendly and helpfull
Their is a mineral water supply , clean toilet
Our college environment is very fresh our area are so much greenary

Dislikes

Their should be more practical base study rather then theory and not unccessary course should be deleted
Internship opportunities should give no extra skill classes are theirs except computer class is available and only for limited students
College should more High tech then no one have to choose for other colleges

I wanted to be a teacher for that reason I took education and our curriculum is very helpful I got lots of experience For real world it's not so good Should be more practical part that how to teach because my department is Education 9am to 12pm exam timings

Teacher are friendly with students for talking
Seperate by hostel wise girl and boys ...
Some department are good in teaching and daily come to college and teach them

Dislikes

Boys Hostel thre no restriction any time we can go anywhere and come anytime
Our political department thre no section divided there minimum 800 students
Toilet thre no water to pop only can pee .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I just choose by political science because my favourite subject but there lots of students.The toilet fix them. Water pipe line we can drink a water.Classroom section system we all students are present.

Likes

The surrounding is peaceful and serene .
The professors are top notch , they are friendly , teaches well and kind.
We have good curriculum activities, extra curriculum activities for students

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college , college campus and rioad is not good
There is no wifi in the college for whole student. And there is network issue there
There should be more seats for students so that kore students can take admission in the college

Iam into anchroing host and poet and poem novels and essays so my interests were already into litera And thats the reason i choose it there were no hasitant to it but i feel our college should provive well updated books in the library so that more students can be engage there. The exam difficulty is not much and we get 3hrs for exam it will be either in morning or afteNoon

Don Bosco college jollang has made me from boy to a man,where I have faced many ups and downs but made me pure man

Likes

Faculty members are very helpful to the students
Teaching methods is at peak as it gives students much quality education
3 to 4 programs are being placed to give opportunities to overcome to maximum numbers of students,where every clubs has their of programs

Dislikes

Infrastructure should be improve though they are doing right now
The campus is bit compact due to situated at hill top
Well I’m not happy about the fee structure of the college

Here I dislike some students they disobey teachers
Here learning facilities and infrastructure is not good
Development of class room is not going on

From 1st semester students become eligible for campus placement.I haven visited yet.Apple Inc. is the highest company in the world cap . 89.6 after getting degree I will apply for job to be capable equal in society

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very much obsessed with poems and drama so this course gave me opportunity to learn more about the dramas and poems. There are two tests before the semester exams which prepare us for the semester exams.

DNGC is the best college that i knew and best known for its quality education.

Likes

Overall in generel i like everything about the college. Teaching and non teaching staff are very good and the facility provide here is the best.

Dislikes

Things that i disliked about the college campus is some some students used to litter by throwing plastics of eatable items.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I liked it. There are many teaching and non-teaching faculty. The number of students is approx 3000. To be a faculty in this institution they require some qualifications after fulfilling anybody can become a faculty in any department. The way of teaching is very good I would say it's the best and the teachers are so regular. There are semester systems in the college. If you study and focus nothing is hard and you could pass it easily.

I did applied to other colleges too before getting admitted in the one I am now but destiny got me here and I am not regretful at all. So I applied to colleges based in Guwahati like Guwahati Commerce College, Dispur College, and more. I got selected in Dispur College on merit list but because of the high fees of Paying Guest and Hostels i skipped it. Then days later I applied in Donbosco College in online mode and my name came in the merit list of students. I was always a Bosco Student and I knew Donbosco would be the best for me. To get admission in my college the process is to first fill the online form of new admission from the college website and then if you get selected your name will be published in the merit list of students which you need to check often. After that, the online form along with the other necessary documents needs to be photocopied and submit to the college for admission. To any who is thinking of getting admitted to this college or is skeptical about it, I would highly recommend to choose this college as it will get you the best possible educational college experience which u need to have in life....Read More

At first, this College was not on my preference list as I wanted to study at Sikkim Law College but due to the late declaration of CUET result, I opted for DBC, Itanagar the recommendation of my friend which undeniably was one of my good choices.
