How to get into DBC Itanagar?
At first, this College was not on my preference list as I wanted to study at Sikkim Law College but due to the late declaration of CUET result, I opted for DBC, Itanagar the recommendation of my friend which undeniably was one of my good choices.
For admission to our college, the students have to take CUET exam and after that short list is maded and according to that shortlist, the students are selected but at last minute they do accept other students if seats are still left. the Admission procedure as I was accepted by the principal after checking my 10& 12 results
What is the scope of extra-curricular activities at DBC Itanagar?
Academic life is stressful but also adventurous, as I have joined 2 clubs and 1 cell, which are a health club, drama club and NSS and I am also the G.S of Health club it is hectic but fun.
According to me, Our college holds many programmes and all from club to club and also Department-wise monthly.
Our college has an exclusive range of book materials in our Library from offline to online and all the classes have their own projector, mic and other technologies.
Our sports week usually starts in the last week of October and end in 1st week of November and our college/sports week has already started from the 26th October.
Who are the top faculties for the Political Science program?
I personally feel like our faculty members are really good and approachable.
The faculties I like are Ripi Ma'am of the Political Science department because I really like her teaching methods, and Sir Teles from the Department of Social Work as he is very frank, easy easygoing, and I also like his teaching methods.
I don't have any faculties I disliked.
According to semester-wise, we have 2 internal assessments and one-semester exam and for me, I find our internal assessment easy and semester exam slightly tough.
Course Pattern and structure
I choose Political Science as I feel like Political Science is very relevant in real world's because pol. Science teaches us " how government work?, why do we need government? , what are is our rights? and many relevant more and not only that, it also teaches us to be a vigilant citizens.
But the only problem in our education system is the preferance to rote learning
For our internal test, we are alloted with 1 hour which I feel is a sufficient as we only have test for 15 or 20 marks and for semesters I guess we are alloted with 3 hours which is also sufficient.
