Likes

Multiple canteens and especially the evening canteen has made life a lot easier as Greater Noida is not that a food hub and one has to travel a lot to find good restaurant.
A fully equipped auditorium, with a capacity of holding almost 600+ students at a time is in line to support all the guest lectures and fests.
Education, is always at the first here as academic wise nobody can complain.

Dislikes

Moot culture is non existent at the college level and students have to find their ways to enroll and fun themselves for going into the competition.

There's a thing that most students think that our books are a copy paste or what NLUs teach. It's not true though as we have curriculum advance than that. For internships college help us get the best firms so I am happy that I have attended the right college for pursuing law.

Placement Experience

Placements are very sparse to be honest as even though Noida or NCR for that matter is a hub for placements, Lloyd prepare us to find placements on our own. Some corporates and government organizations do come for placements but still placements are little spare.

Fees and Financial Aid

250k is our tuition fees and it is different for the ones who have admitted on 2024 as their fees is 280k. Fees has increased every year as it was 230k last year and an increase of nearly 10% in the fees was too much. For SC/ST students in my class they pay 20 or 30% lesser as ours is a total private institution and not much leeway is given when it comes to scholarships and discounts on fees.

Campus Life

Campus is quite big as there are four girls hostels and one boys hostels inside the campus. Sports almost every single facility is here from table tennis to chess. Outdoor sports facilities are also there. Attorney General of India has been invited during the fests and our main fest Catalyst was highlighted with performance from comedian like Bassi and singer like Darshan Raval.

Admission

Admissions are direct after a small interview in which only basic questions are asked. I was rejected from NLUs as my score was less and getting lesser ranked NLUs wouldn't have made any sense. NLUs are the only colleges that I applied for and post that my choice was Lloyd and I am rightly biding my time at Lloyd Law College.

Faculty

4.5

Relationship between student and faculty is just like normal as faculties don't entertain much outside the academics but academic wise, a single problem and they will give us all their time. Doubt solving classes are there in place every month and students who are engaged with internships just one letter and are given liberty on attendance too. So, in one word they are quite accomodative.

Galgotias University is Greatest!

Placement Experience:

No companies as here only lawyers of arbitration and other domains come to hire students. Most students though have PPO from their interning companies but not real 10-20 LPA placements for Galgotias and that i wish change because our university academics and the kind of learning that is provided is at par with that of NLUs.

GLA University Mathura is a marvel!

Placement Experience:

Packages aren't as good or big as NLUs as 4-5 lakhs is median and just 25% students gets placements from University. Most students though go for litigation and I am also going to do the same as this is how I want to build my career and take it forward. Even LLM is also an option and GLA University is the one from where I will do, if I plan to do masters.

All About the Campus Life

Placement Experience:

In BA. LL.B. especially students are elidgible from 5th year i.e. 9TH semester for college placements, the college has a 99 % placement rate which is very impressive and students are given a vast number of choices among the companies. The companies which recruit are usually top tier like Mahindra, Wipro etc. The highest ever package in our college is 50 LPA. I am planning to do corporate law after the completion of my degree for which the college also has a corporate resource department.

Placement Experience:

Yes they do provide campus placement last year only almost 70 students were offered jobs in campus placement. But in our case most of the students have their own plans like the majority of them are generational lawyers so either they'll join their firms or they have very good contacts so they'll get places easily but in my case as a first generation lawyer we do get internship or assessment internship in which we get very good chances to get PPO they we don't have to relay on college for campus placement. In my case if i didn't get campus placement then wherever I've done my internship I'll try to convert my internship into a PPO

Honest review for Lloyd Law College & Lloyd School of Law

The college is one of the best private college for law in the price range, if you aren't getting any NLU you can think of it. There are other colleges as well better than this like Jindal Global but it is very expensive and Symbiosis but it is far away. Lloyd is cheap and in NCR which keeps you closer to Supreme Court and Law capital, you can learn better from here and do internship which others struggle for easily. I will be very honest here. I could not get the top 7 8 NLUs. I had an option to have an average NLU by paying a really high price. I didn't feel it deserved the investment.
