Likes
- Multiple canteens and especially the evening canteen has made life a lot easier as Greater Noida is not that a food hub and one has to travel a lot to find good restaurant.
- A fully equipped auditorium, with a capacity of holding almost 600+ students at a time is in line to support all the guest lectures and fests.
- Education, is always at the first here as academic wise nobody can complain.
Dislikes
- Moot culture is non existent at the college level and students have to find their ways to enroll and fun themselves for going into the competition.
Course Curriculum Overview
There's a thing that most students think that our books are a copy paste or what NLUs teach. It's not true though as we have curriculum advance than that. For internships college help us get the best firms so I am happy that I have attended the right college for pursuing law.
Placement Experience
Placements are very sparse to be honest as even though Noida or NCR for that matter is a hub for placements, Lloyd prepare us to find placements on our own. Some corporates and government organizations do come for placements but still placements are little spare.
Fees and Financial Aid
250k is our tuition fees and it is different for the ones who have admitted on 2024 as their fees is 280k. Fees has increased every year as it was 230k last year and an increase of nearly 10% in the fees was too much. For SC/ST students in my class they pay 20 or 30% lesser as ours is a total private institution and not much leeway is given when it comes to scholarships and discounts on fees.
Campus Life
Campus is quite big as there are four girls hostels and one boys hostels inside the campus. Sports almost every single facility is here from table tennis to chess. Outdoor sports facilities are also there. Attorney General of India has been invited during the fests and our main fest Catalyst was highlighted with performance from comedian like Bassi and singer like Darshan Raval.
Admission
Admissions are direct after a small interview in which only basic questions are asked. I was rejected from NLUs as my score was less and getting lesser ranked NLUs wouldn't have made any sense. NLUs are the only colleges that I applied for and post that my choice was Lloyd and I am rightly biding my time at Lloyd Law College.
Faculty
Relationship between student and faculty is just like normal as faculties don't entertain much outside the academics but academic wise, a single problem and they will give us all their time. Doubt solving classes are there in place every month and students who are engaged with internships just one letter and are given liberty on attendance too. So, in one word they are quite accomodative.
