Entrance Preview

VITEE, I opt for this college because of its good reputation and its excellence in the field of civil engineering. We are not provided with scores but with rank. My rank was around 11k.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is exceptionally well with a focus on engineering subjects, communicating subjects like English, Hindi, foreign languages like french, german, etc

Internships Opportunities

We are not provided any stipend for internships. We have to do internships on our own with college playing no role in it. but teachers can help you if you need any information from them.

Placement Experience

VIT is known for 100% placement. Infosys, TCS, cognizant, lnt, Mahindra, Britania, etc are its regular recruiter. This year vit is given 3541 recruitment offers.

College Events

The main fests are cultural and technical. They are named Rivera and gravitas. They are good with a marvelous environment and amazing competition environment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are a little expensive with 80k as tuition fees and hostel and mess fees include 60k approximately. Although the facilities are good, with proper food and living facilities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are awarded to 5 toppers of each branch and streams.no type of loan is provided, although nationalize banks like sbi, and, Indian banks provide loans easily.

Campus Life

We have all types of freedom, the gender ratio is ok, the campus has many places like restaurants, canteens, gyms, playing grounds sports complexes, libraries, labs in various departments where we can interact with each other. No type of prejudice occurs.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are proper ventilated food is tasty and hygenic with everyday rotation, fruits, milk, tea, bread all are given in breakfast lunch and dinner is fantastic average hostel and mess fees is 60k per year.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

We have a Facebook page, WhatsApp group, LinkedIn network, and google hangouts to interact with each other. Apart from this we have contacts with each other and meet yearly in the cities of Delhi.

Exam Structure

We have a semester system with 3 quizzes and 2 internal exams of 50 marks. An external exam is conducted for 0 marks and lab exams of 100 marks. Then the average is taken.

Faculty

Faculty is well qualified, helpful in nature, skilled in their respective fields, talented, and down to earth. They have the required knowledge in their fields and are well experienced.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
