ICFAI University Dehradun is at par with NLUs

I was a bit tentative as Law is not that popular but I somehow made up my mind. After clearing the interview I decided to give my whole and luckily the college reciprocated the same as they throw challenges on us every semester as lawyers need to be smart and updated. So, the university teaches us all the top case studies of law and the only improvement i demand us giving us a chance to compete at international moot championships.

Once you enter the final year, your placements are more or less guaranteed. Highest package offered to our department was from ICICI Lombard and they offered on of the students a package of 30 lakhs last year. The average though settles between 5-6 LPA. My plan is to go for litigation as I don't want to go for a job after pursuing a personal degree.

Fees is 125k for this year but it was 120k last year. Nearly the fees increases by 5000 every year and that is understandable. For students who gets admission through CLAT score which is 2000 or less gets 20% off in their fees. The students who comes under reserved category also have some discounts ranging from 20-50%.

It all starts with a freshers party and then ends with farewell partym in between though there are almost 20 odd events that happens at the university every year. Sports are something which are not mandatory but students are pushed and that's the reason why sports complex of the university is always buzzing. From football to badminton we have almost every sporting facility inside the campus for students to take a good care of their health.

Anybody who says that NALSAR or NLSIU weren't their first choice is lying. Yes, they were my choice too but my ranks were not where closer to getting admissions there and hence ICFAI being my next chocie after them, I took admissions here. I don't regret it as law department of our UNIVERSITY is at par with any NLUs of the country.

Not just the faculties but the supporting faculties and the guest faculties too are of some note here. Yes, there are some faculties who are not just strict but biased and too and for obvious reasons I can't name them. Still all in all facilities of ICFAI and especially our department can be termed as faculties of note.
