Remarks
Sometimes the managment can thoroughly frustrate you, other times it feels just about okay. For sports this college is really good. My advice to budding engineers would be that consider this college as you second last choice. It's not quite bad, but it's
Entrance Preview
MHT-CET, score 114 due to my fairly decent score and my interest in mechanical field my choices were limited. As per the DTE procedure, I was allotted this college. This institute was nearest to my home and so I didn't have any problems regarding the travelling part. The main motive behind my decision for settling for this college was that it offered my preferred course, for which the colleges are in limited numbers in the Mumbai University.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was as per the Mumbai University curriculum.Faculty is average. It's nothing special.
Internships Opportunities
Sadly, this college doesn't offer internship opportunities on it's behalf. If you could find a company that is ready to take you as an intern then the college will happily comply and give you permission for the same.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are really below the expectations. Many few companies are interested and even fewer students are selected by the companies. The pay grade offered is also quite low.
College Events
The college holds an annual festival. It's quite closed and only for the students of the college. Thought it's decent and not quite flashy. You can say it's 3/5. Sports festival is very interesting though.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The College is located at Kamothe, but the hostel is at Sanpada. Though the college provides free travelling by college bus to the hostel students. The fees is strictly as per the norms set by Mumbai University. The mess is decent, and so is the food. 3/5
Fees and Financial Aid
The only scholarships or freeships available are to the toppers and the ones who come under caste. Scholarships for students securing excellent marks are available from Tata.
Campus Life
Campus life is fairly good. The campus is huge. It's got good places to spend sometime. Gender ratio is fairly equal. Labs aren't very well maintained, infrastructure is poor. The only positive I can tell is that the college ground is fantastic, it's lush and green covered with grass and is always well maintained. The college premises also houses a gym with all the equipments for the college students only which can be used for a nominal fees of Rs.500 each month.
Alumni/Alumna
It's not quite good. I'd say, just about average.
