Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is generally well-structured. It balances theory with Practical applications. Hands on project, Expert Seminars and Interdisciplinary approach influenced my descision to take this course. The college can improve on Interactive learning and update their content. Internal Exams are usually after the first month and the end semester are after the semester.

Placement Experience

2.5

In the final year students are eligible for placements so that makes it from Semester 7. There are many companies that visited Amity but many students got very good offers. For example Deloitte, Accenture etc. Highest Package of 2024 is 12 LPA Average is around 6LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Year 1 (Semester 1 and Semester 2) - 4 Lakh Year 2 (Semester 3 and Semester 4) - 4.12 Lakh Year 3 (Semester 5 and Semester 6) - 4.38 Lakh Year 4 (Semester 7 and Semester 8) - 4.5 Lakh If 12th percentage is greater than 95% you get 100% scholarship and if you keep the cgpa high you can get the scholarship for semester 3 as well. If 12tg percentage is greater than 90% you get 50% scholarship and same format goes for this for extending the scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Sanghathan is a very popular event that takes place every year in Amity. It encourages students from different department to compete woth wach other in various sports eg. Chess Football Tennis Badminton Carrom etc. The library of amity is one of a kind. It is massive and contains a lot of books for you to read. You can find previous year papers and subject wise books are kept in order to find it easily. Student Clubs provides a platform for student to come forward and learn from their seniors. Clubs have amazing contest, workshops etc.

Admission

I applied for JEE Mains and qualified for Advanced but could not score well in advanced. I was getting admission in colleges in South India but this college gave an opportunity for SAP(Study Abroad programme). This is the reason I chose this college. You have to fill the application form and upload three question videos. There is no entrance exam for this college.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty to student ratio is around 1:15. Teachers are very welcoming and always ready to help. The Faculty of ASET (Amity Institute of Engineering Technology) was very approachable. Teachers will help you with any problem you have in your mind. There are 2 exams. One is Internals and the other is Majors(End semester exam). The difficulty level was quite easy if you study during the classes. Regardless, the number of students failing to clear the exam is below average depending on the subject.

Placement Experience:

Integral University in the third of engineering asks us to take time out for placements training. Students who haven't done any internships are asked to do one or attend the workshops organized at the university. Thus in the final year, we are fully prepared and companies also are never disappointed as maximum students clear the interviews with ease.

My college has an average placement of 6LPA. Placement eligibility starts from the end of 5th semester, but when I got promoted to 5th semester, placements declined due the the restructuring in placement cell. So our batch missed the opportunity to attend any placements. In year 2022, the highest placement was around 22LPA and in year 2023, it declined to 9 LPA as there was restructuring in team. After getting my degree I will look for carrier opprotunities on my own, as I have not experienced any placement in my college years.
