Course Curriculum Overview

3

I actually had no idea about interiors when I chose it. All I knew was that I could get to design and that was more than enough for me. Honestly, they just teach you what you could be doing with the softwares and that's about it because the real world designing is nothing like what they teach us. It's so different. Maybe if they could teach us how to survive in the real world industries. Exams are very peaceful. Nothing to worry about in that area.

Internships Opportunities

5

We had to go find companies that offer internships on our own. The college wouldn't help with that. I interned after the completion of my degree. I earned a stipend of 15k. The internship was for 3 months and it was full time. They made us do projects of residence, hospitality, hospital, office and educational institutions

Placement Experience

2.5

From the final semester the students are eligible for placements. Companies like Livespace, Bonito etc visited for placements. Average will be 15k and the highest package being 37k. Your percentage will have almost nothing to do with placements but your portfolio will play a huge roll. I have successfully started working after my degree and I hope to be a great interior designer in the future.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had studied there for a total of 3 years 1st year - 1,50,000 2nd year - 1,30,000 3rd year - 1,40,000 Around this amount anually. They also gave us an option to pay the fee amount in parts before final exams. There's scholarships available for single daughters.

Campus Life

2.5

They have fests like Cul-ah and other festivals which are mainly for educational purposes. They also have weekly events which include shopping inside college. The library is of a decent size and is very accessible for students. Every classroom has a charging ports and smart boards. They have a hockey team that I know of. I'm not sure of other sports teams around. There are way too many clubs to join and enjoy college life such as dance teams, singing teams, fashion team etc.

Admission

I only applied in one college and I got it. I got lucky. The admission process was very smooth because they actually guid you to fulfill every request. I actually joined during COVID times so I didn't have an entrance exam but now they do. So you have to clear that exam then fulfill the rest of the admission requirements which they will explain to you.

Faculty

0.5

They always had a good amount of faculty members to work with all the different subjects they had. Faculty relationships with students will always differ from person to person but personally I have felt that they could behave nicer. I would not like to call them out like that. I'm sure they are nice people but sometimes they need to remind themselves that. It is not easy nor hard to clear exams. That totally depends on you but the vivas are very biased is what I felt.

Interview Experience

0.5

No. Like I said in my previous answers, I was in the Covid batch so we did not have the entrance exams or interviews like they usually conduct. Could prepare well about why you chose the course in that particular college and where you see yourself in 5 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have really packed timings. We also have a lot of chances. Like an exchange program, internships and many chances to act or work in actual projects. I really hope they could teach us animation in the course and it would really help if the clubs are active. For every exam we have to come up with something new totally out of the box. sometimes we also have to work overtime.

Students become eligible for placements after their graduation project in the 8th semester which is the 4th year. A good number of companies around 8-10 come for the campus placements. The minimum package starts from 6 lakhs and can go up to 20 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of the students get an on campus placement. Some get an off campus placement as well. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue masters in my field.

All subject professors are well qualified and experienced faculty and very friendly approach and guide us till we complete our course with good knowledge and give us best guidance for career in future and exams are conducted on mentioned time with very strict rules. It was little difficult but the teaching method helped to go through exams and get gud marks. Negative is only the extra charged v have to spend for projects and other rather than our yearly fee. Rest all gud.
