Course Curriculum Overview

4

It was a good course curriculum..... The curriculum keeps changing every two years or so it was updated and we would rely on digital notes more than pen and paper so its environment friendly too... We had to do group as well as individual projects

Fees and Financial Aid

It is a two year course so will be paying about one and half lakhs per year so roughly about 3-3.5 lakhs for the two years. The scholarships which i knew was one where the student has a highest cgpa above 9 and if they have studied in MGM college udupi they have to maintain that cgpa and they will get a concession Other scholarship is konkani speaking scholarship

Campus Life

3.5

There were many clubs like literary, dance etc etc... I was part of the dance club i . I had to audition for that. Then there were various festivals taking place in the college and all the festivals were celebrated

Admission

I was a very interested on studying in manipal because that was my dream college i actually wanted to do my bachelor degree here but then ended up doing my my masters here .. It was a good thing everything went smoothly admission process is very easy just given an entrance

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio in my time was okay. They had recruited new professors . The student professor ratio is very good since its a professional course they treat us like young adults and make us ready for the society where there is a lot of pressure.. I wont mention any specific name and professor all were good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fairly distributed among the 2 years. The first year broadly covers the course work, and learning of the laboratory techniques. Followed by a mini project and a major project under a professor of interest. Stem cell biology always intrigued me and this course offered exactly what I want. The curriculum focuses on training students very rigorously to make them fit for harsh conditions and situations in the real research world.

Main highlight is that they provide campus placement. Which is very usefull for all the students. That made me more attracted to the college. This college curriculum actually help us in many real life aspects were we make our own decision accordingly. Timing of the college for different course is different like for masters students it's from 9 to 4:30 which they made the schedule as we will be working after masters so they are making us to work like office schedule time which is really helpfull.
