- The teaching faculty was excellent it helped me throughout the year
- The extra curricular activities that the college conducts is just too good
- The infrastructure is perfect for the students to hangout in campus
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was taught pretty well as the syllabus was interesting because Pillai's is an autonomous college. There are total of four exams conducted throughout the year in which 2 are unit tests and 2 are Semesters and the papers are set quite average.
Fees and Financial Aid
In Pillai's 1st year's course fees was Rs. 26000, and in 2nd year fees were slightly higher that is Rs. 30000 and in my final year fees was Rs. 33000. This was inclusive of all the fees like Term fees, Library fees, etc
Campus Life
Pillai's is known for it's events. It is a pretty good balance between college and fun activities. Every month it has some games or events held. The main and the Important festival is The ALEGRIA which is held in February month.
Admission
I applied to couple of colleges in nearby locality but the focus was Pillai's and there was no need to search anywhere else because I got it. The admission process is also quite basic like any other college.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio was good for example if there are 3 divisions that is 120 students each then there were 10 faculties for them, they even helped after the lecture got over. Poonam Gupta was my favourite faculty for sure.
