Likes

The ranking of the college is good as per Nirf.
The faculty is very specialized and professional.
The campus life here at uoes is fantastic.

Dislikes

There are a lot of gaps in between the lectures.
The transportation system for day scholars is not so good.
The classes are till very late in the evening.

Course Curriculum Overview

The pspecific aspect is that it offers specialization of banking and insurance , e-commerce. The teaching done in class is as per the latest events in the current world. The frequency of the timing of exams is a little high.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the first semester which i paid was 89100. After getting a scholarship of 18300 on uttarakhand domicile. This includes 28000 for training and certification. And a security amount of 20000.

Campus Life

The campus life here at upes is fantastic. There are a lot of annual and technical festivals. Recently we had a himalyan photography event . In sports we had a mba soccer league. The extracurricular activities are nice There is a gymnasium , table tennis , soccer ground.

Admission

I have chosen this college because of its good Nirf ranking. I was aiming for delhi university but due to delay in cuet results could not get the admission. I also took admission here for being of dehradun. So i can get more time to study for future competitive exams.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is quite adequate . There are professors according to the number of students. The exams are conducted frequnetly and the best of them are chosen to be added in the end term semester examinations.

The review from heart

Placement Experience:

The college provides a great scope for campus placement this was one of the main reason I took admission here.Form the second last semester the students become eligible to sit for the placement exams.The college have ties with many big companies and MNCS which provides the opportunity for campus placement. The written exam is conducted in the college campus only and the selected students are called for the interview. The main companies that visit Graphic Era Hill University are - 1:TCS 2: Infosys 3: Adobe 4: Google 5: Microsoft The highest package of the college in previous batch was 50 lakhs per annum and the average package was 6 lakhs per annum.Tough the college does not guarantee 100 percent placement but most of the students get campus placement the percentage would be around 80% . My plans after completing my degree is to get a job as a financial assistant and gain some experience and then pursue MBA .

Designing dreams in graphic Era

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities for b.com honours are decent,only few students get placed, Around 40 to 50% of students in last batch got placed. The average package offered ranges between 2 to 3 lpa while some students with better skills secured a better package. Companies like TCS,Deloitte,Infosys is very active in campus placement but you should not be concerned about placements if you are doing BCom focus on your skills and you will secure a good package or focus on masters then after you can expect a good package

The teacher are very knowledgeable and provide the best solution for your question. They should more teach in english language also. There are 2 exams every semester. First exam is of total 20 marks, and the final exam is out of 500. There are practicals, and project files also.

Because my brother told me to do this course. Faculty is there and everything is there as per their knowledge. Student Ration 54:6. Qualification is higher and she has done a Ph.D. Teaching teachers are mind-blowing. Term exams are accurate and on time. what is difficult, if you study, it will not be difficult.

Remarks:

Positive remarks is good fees structure and provide scholarship for poor students and the negative remark is the building of that college is very old and messy. It should be renovated. And providing a good canteen also.

A big no for placements and a big yes for campus life

Entrance test for the programme is conduted based on the criteria that is above 60% admissions are provided. The professors of the university also conducts interviews before admissions in zoom. After all the process once the student clears the exam and interview admission is provided. I was enrolled in the university in the year 2018 as would say that I definetely wasted my 3 precious years and money offcourse. There were no placements also, just for small matters they send you from one person to other and for some university matters you will have to go other campus just for some signatures....Read More
