Likes

The main thing I like about my college is its infrastructure.
Then I like field practical studies which is captivating
Hostel ambience is good and it provides best atmospheric for studies.

Dislikes

Mess food is not quite palatable. It needs to be corrected.
Even though the classes are interesting, timing of classes is lengthy.

The main reason for which I chose this college is my interest in agriculture. The moto of this college is employing educated and trained graduates in implementing their knowledge and wisdom to the most remote village farmer's field .

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placement is limited nowadays. The salary package holds an average amount of 30000 rupees . Percentage of students attempting and getting placement is mid. I have planned for post graduate in genetics.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise scholarship provided = rupees 8500 Tuition fees = rupees 35000 per year and hostel fees = rupees 50000 per year it includes mess fees and miscellaneous expenses. Special industrial quota students must pay 12 lakh INR as donation.

Campus Life

This college not only incorporate knowledge to its students but also make them expose their talents in sports , club activities and various other activities. Various exposure visits are given by our college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel infrastructure is good . It provides a hygienic environment and it is cleaned several times a week. Quality of food in mess is arguable. Registration of hostel and mess are done on the day of commencement of college.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

I attempted neet but I got low marks so I didn't get the chance for a medical seat. Then I don't have the opportunity to apply for engineering counselling. So I applied for agriculture and it is my third choice.

Faculty

The faculty is headed by Dean agriculture. Each semester has atleast 10 plus courses for which both practical and theory exams are conducted . Marks are alloted for each courses separately and the average ogpa is calculated.

the curriculum is okay for this institute, yet i would definitly suggest other institutes to look for if u want to do the same couse witha better curriculum. the curriculum was very packed and breaks were very limited. the teaching methods are usually ppt and word. textbooks are suggested but barely used

This course have the last two semester that is the fourth year as all India study tour rave and experiential learning in which you have no exams from the TNAU by rather than focusing on field in our experiences of the student by the students are placed upon in particular village allotted to area office so the students would face the struggles and experience of an agricultural officer in field level and get contact with the farmer and intraway we also get many certificates it will be useful for as career in all India study tour we are exposed to various states and cities of total India we will travel to various station in located in all over the country and we also get a huge exposure to it in inexperiential learning we are allowed to choose two modules in which one for one subject based upon the college this providing at the time we get exposure up on the practical and the industrial aspects of how to produce something either in the field of agriculture Horticulture aquaculture poultry etcetera. Clampes you based upon agriculture aspect and it is also useful for UPSC aspirants too improvements is that you can add some transportation facilities from main city to this college because it's located in the rural area and also there are need to be more labs of higher advanced the exam is for two and half for a 40 marks of the final year exam and the practical exam maybe depend upon external who comes mostly it is also around some three hours and The Viva may extend up to many time based upon external and the midsem for 1 hour

They only conducted interview for marketing category. Average package 40000-50000 . Low number of students only choose placement most of all chosen higher studies. Job or entrepreneur

This is the top universities in Tamilnadu. 12th mark is enough for the admission in this college. The cut-off mark is about 195 for MBC Category and 197 for BC Category and 189 for SC Category. And for engineering Student the cut-off is about 178. For the other state students they need to write ICAR exam for the admission. I choose this college because of the top 1st in Tamilnadu.
