Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

MBBS is pretty standard course all over India as it is governed by nmc and with implementation of next like examinations it will enforce standardization even more . The college follows all the guidelines and competencies for teaching students as guided by nmc

Internships Opportunities

4

Every mbbs course has a year of compulsory internship at the college attached hospital it self in all the departments it is only after this when you can practice as a registered medical practitioner outside

Fees and Financial Aid

9800 yearly fees for boys Less for girls 4800 yearly for hostel both for boys and girls Many scholarship are available for mbbs students like ffe ekalyan ect for economic aid for eligible candidates which covers all the hostel and tuition fees and sometimes even mess fees Other scholarship opportunities are also available for category students from state and national government

Campus Life

3.5

There aren't any clubs as such in the college. But due to celebration of certain events wich comealong the year students get the chance to show their talent especially the annual fest antragini which is generally the highlight of the year .sports are played almost all year long and are a variety of them

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facility is really worth the price as for 400 rs a month you get a room which will be cleaned everyday and to a certain extent can be modified single rooms are available only after 2 or 3rd year though

Admission

This college had better campus with has a hospital attached to the college and hostel space is nice. The college needs a lot of improvement but if you aren't getting rims it would be my next choice in jharkhand.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty members are really good and qualified doctor in their respective fields and are always eager to help you with studies or any other problems.but currently are overworked due to lack of faculties in certain departments.

Other Applied Colleges

Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College | Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

Better hostel facility in pmch and hospital is in campus

MBBS is all about learning and exploring . Only choose this profession when you have a will to help others otherwise it would be a difficult course for you. The passing marks of examination is 50 and for that you need to study hard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs is a long duration course of about 5.5 years in which there is 1 year of compulsory internship.being a doctor is the noble profession and gives you huge respect and that's why i choose this course, this was me and my parents dream as well.this curriculum prepares you to face upcoming challenges that you have to face as a doctor.i think practical work should be more instead of just bookish knowledge.there is 3 terminals in a regular interval of 3 months and then final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is overall a tough course because we have to study a lot. After all we are going to become a doctor, so we can't excuse our patients that we don't know the particular disease. I personally choose the course as I had always liked biology and i want to directly serve our society and want to develop new treatment techniques. In RIMS, faculties are highly qualified and they are very helpful. They always try their best to make us understand the concepts. Besides highly qualified faculties, PG students are also available to help and teach us in RIMS. In every 3 months, we have our terminal examinations and to appear in final exam or university exam we have to pass atleast 2 terminals. Passing marks in MBBS is 50%.

It's a good college to pursue mbbs. There is less discipline in this college and students focus less in their studies. U will enjoy your life to fullest if u take this college. As there are many college trips planned here.
