Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is about ancient Indian and world history. It is very relevant and important for students who wants to know the about the past. Not only the history they also teach some other subjects like Anthropology, Archaeology, Iconography, Epigraphy, Museology, Archive study etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

admission fees around 2000, hostel fees around 5000, professors are caring and helpful, the course syllabus is different and some kind of tough. But the overall course is affordable. The college environment is friendly. The past record and achievement of this college is very interesting and prosperous.

Campus Life

2.5

The club environment is friendly for a group of people, not for all. Technological provisions are dull. Infrastructure is not so good and the authority don't listen to students for development. The library has a huge collection but the college don't spent a peny to preserve the collection.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The pg accommodation is completely different from college. The authority don't care about our campus or pg life. Students have to make a room for themselves . There is a lift for 5th floor, had not working for six months.

Admission

I applied for 14-15 colleges and got acceptance letter from 13 of those. But the syllabus I got from my current college is completely different from others which is very interesting. Not only that, the politics free environment is so safe and calming for study

Faculty

4

Kanad Sinha, Sagnik Saha, Soumyo Ghosh, Somdatta Chakravarti are some of my favorite professors. Though the faculty member is less than students. There are a 6:5 ratio for boys and girls. Exams are somewhat moderately hard. The course curriculum is very relatable.

Other Applied Colleges

Bethune College | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Bengali)

I already got into my current university

Placement Experience:

Placements at VBU especially for courses like BA IN JAPANESE are limited. Most students do not receive offers through campus recruitment. However, the course opens up oppurtunities in fields like translation, interpretation and working with Japanese Companies especially for those who clear JLPT N2 or N1. After completing my bachelor's I plan to pursue an MBA as combining language skills with management education offers a strong edge in the global job market.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

In our college The course is for three years. These three years have been divided into six semesters. Six months is a semester. Final exams are taken every semester. Also, our college has different facilities. There is a mess for the students. There is a library for the students so that they do not have any difficulty in studying. Which is very useful for us.

The placement of BA Hons linguistics in Aligarh Muslim University is too good. It has its own training and placement office to help students get college placement and make their life successful. The salary during campus differs depending upon student and his/her skills. However overall salary offered here is satisfactory.

Chandannagar collage Campus placement, also known as campus recruitment, is when companies come to your colleges campus, conduct interviews, and hire candidates to work in their company. These campus placements are arranged for by your college who invite all the best possible companies to recruit from their students. The campus placements are held before the final examination.
