Course Curriculum Overview

1. Very scientific obviously. And also rewarding. 2.current curriculum is based on real world apprehension. Very precise and accurate. 3.self directed learning should be implemented. Aslo attendence required should be decreased.(now 75% in theory and 80% in practical classes is mandatory for appearing in exams.) 4. Timing of exams - every 3 months. Difficulty is moderate.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. 4500 /- for each 6 month. 2. Registration fees 2000 /- one time for 4.5 year. 3. It does not increase nor decrease. 4. There are scopes for scholarships (svcms,yaikashree, oasis) 5.no tution fees. 6.fees is same for all category.

Campus Life

1. Freshers, anuual fest, pre fest tournaments,annual sports are held preferably in the September month. 2. Long range of accessibility of books and journals from prefessors. 3. Like other colleges here also various types of extracurricular activities .(in yearly basis) 4. currently there are no student-run social groups, clubs, or portal.

Hostel Facilities

1. Personal bed, matress, pillow, almirah, table, chair are provided. 2.meal quality is good for expense. Menu is good. Personally i wont tell that bad. 3. Very easy process. Just fill up a form given from the college. Many extra rooms are available actually. So there is no problem at all. 4. Renting a room in market is costly here. Ranging 2000 - 14000 .

Admission

1. The college choosed me. 2. I didn't get into any other colleges except raiganj. But i didn't upgraded back then. 3 i thought the weather here is nice. 4. We have well prepared administrative group who helps with all the processes. 5 overall experience is very good in this scenerio.

Faculty

1. Faculty student ration is around 1:20 . I found all the Faculty members very helpful and inspiring. 2. Prof. Saikat datta (Medicine), Prof. Shahnawaz (pharmacology), Prof. Biswapriyo sinha (Anatomy) They are very helpful and friendly just like a brother. 3. Minimum 2 exams occur each year. Exams are moderate, not too easy nor too hard. Nearly 10-15 students failed to clear the exam.

Placement Experience:

If you can pass the exam that is very tough to pass if you're not serious at all, you'll be able enough to get into any nursing home or you can start treating people staring your own clinic. After 4.5 years you get the internship program that is mandatory to do for all where you get a salary of 32000 per month which is highest among all states . If you manage to be in the top 100 students of the batch of 250 you get one year job in the same hospital with a fees of 50000 and just 48 hours duty per week. If you do nursing home you can get around 70-90k per month based on how much you spent time on work .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.
