Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I'm the person having the background in finance. So yeah the course name itself attracted me as it was MBA(Financial Management). Frankly speaking the course was more theoretical, I've learned mostly from internships and self learning courses for the real worls rather than from faculty or curricuum. The Curriculum needs to be more practical should the skills required for real world. and the teaching method should be changed from lecturership to Intercative sessions such as brainstorming etc Exam comes after 4-5 months and the diffculty leavel was not so much high as they were more of theoretical nature.

Internships Opportunities

5

You need to look for internship on your own as very less companies come on campus to provide internship opportunitiies. Although I've got my internship from my faculty in Gravitas AI as Growth Consultant & Marketing Executive. Stipend is based on conversions.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total our fees was almost 52K a year and it was completely refunded through the UP Scholarship as everyone who is from UP is eligible for this scholarship and everyone gets the scholarship regardless of the marks, category etc. otal Scholarship amount ranges from 52K to 65K year to year including hostel allowance in scholarship. Fees is common for all category students whether SC, ST, OBC or General.

Campus Life

5

BHU is in Varanasi, where each event is celebrated like a festival. Biggest event of BHU includes Kashi Yatra, Maha shivratri etc BHU Central Library is the treasure of all kind of books. You can get any type of book form there. BHU provides Smart Class facilities within the classrooms. Campus celebrates varous types of interfaculty competitions such as Cricket, Football, Basketball, Kabaddi etc Yes there are many student run clubs including clubs for Dance, Music, Artistry, Shayari etc

Hostel Facilities

5

In the hostel room, you get two bed, two desk and two chairs as the room is to be shared between 2 persons also you get additional facilities such as Wi-Fi, Washig machine, Water Cooler, Hot water for bath etc. Meal quality is somewhere between Average to Good depending upon how students are handling the mess matters. Menu is generally decided by the students themselves. Registration for hostel is to be done during admission process and hostel is provided only to Top 10 Males and Females in MBA(FM). It is quite afforable as fess for full year is around 5K. If you want to rent a room or pg, you can rent in Lanka Gate(Best for Girls), Hyderabad Gate, Naria Gate, Chittupur (Cheapest) etc.

Admission

Frankly speaking i applied to 4-5 colleges through and due to my high CUET rank(101st RanK) i got selected in all. But even before filing CUET i decided i'll go to BHU only otherwise i'll take drop. The reason was that i was getting my favourite domain in MBA i.e FM and BHU is good in terms of NIRF Rankings. No, i was selected to all other colleges i have applied. Admission Process includes Graduation from any field, then CUET exam for MBA, then if you get shortlisted in MBA program then they'll call you for GD & PI. And then final merit list comes out. It was difficult to get selected in BHU in my time because BHU was the highest demanded college in MBA through CUET at my time.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty to student ratio is too bad as students are really huge in nmber as compared to the professors. But yeah most professors are approachable they listen to you and try to solve your queries. Most of the faculty members are really good but i personally admire Meenakshi mam, Lal Baboo Sir, Anchal Mam a lot as they're really supportive and always encouraged me to do better in my academics and in my life too. There is no such faculty who i never liked. On an Average 6-7 exams are there in each semester, in 3rd sem addition comes in the form of Internship Report and in 4th Sem in the form of Dissertation submission and Viva. It is not much diffcult to clear the exams but yeah if you want to score good then you need to prepare for the exams in continuation.

Interview Experience

5

Topics for GD- Russia vs Ukraine War and its impact on Indian Company, How India can be the superpower, Online vs Offline Learning etc. Topics for Intervew- Describe Yourself, Your maor interest, Your background in academics, Basic questions of finance etc First you Give CUET for MBA then you need to apply separately for BHU from BHU portal by paying a minimal fees. Then if you get shortlisted on the basis of marks then they call you for GD & PI. After that they prepare a final merit list for selection. I've done self study and prepared for the GD and PI on my own by searching the recet Hot Topics to have a GD on.

Placement Experience:

Every year the college has achieved 100% Final placement and 100% Summer Internship with an average package of 6LPA. I myself got placed in ITC. As compared to other institutions offering the same course, you will find very renowned brands coming for placements at this institution. This is because of its Delhi NCR location and also because the institution provides a lot of exposure to various agriculture conclaves which makes the recruiters interact with the students in these events and conclaves.
