Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is designed by Veterinary council of India , And follows MSVE-2016 pattern. Their are exams in almost every 3 minths including the last annual exam. The exam are fairly difficult if not studied well but easy if you're studies enough .

Internships Opportunities

5

The internship training programme is under the college authorities and it is done at Teaching Veterinary clinical complex , NVC Nagpur , And several other centres including slaughter house, Poultry farms and much more.

Placement Experience

5

Students become eligible after a compulsory 1 year internship. Companies like Venkateshwara Hatcheries ( Venkys) IB group Huvepharma, animal feeds companies, veterinary clinics owner visit. Most of the students wishing to get placed get placed i.e. 100% placement. Or do a post-graduation I plan to do a PG in Veterinary surgery.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for general category is 58610 which includes, Registration Fee 1500 Tuition Fee 27500 For category students including obc., sc , st the fees is 23360 rupees rest is scholarship paid by maharashtra state The hostel fees is 25000 amongst which 7000 is refundable deposit payable for first year only.

Campus Life

5

Their are multiple fests across the year The biggest is annual fest , called as ANTARANG , followed by Shiv jayanti Ganesh utsav etc. We've got the biggest library of MAFSU which makes us most lucky. We've the best ground and sports facilities amongst the state veterinary sciences Colleges

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Undergraduate Boys Hostel , Nagpur veterinary college, Nagpur is one of the best , Situated at a near proximity of college within 100 meters and co-operative mess which provides best food at merely 2300/month. Hostel costs 18000/year and is affordable. The locality is also good.

Admission

NAGPUR veterinary college, Nagpur was my first choice of preference since it's the best veterinary College in State located at the close proximity of Maharashtra animal and fisheries sciences University, Nagpur . Students are required to clear NEET exam to apply for the college , for state quota the cutoff is arounf 490 to 570 marks and for all india quota the cutoff is usually higher than this

Faculty

4.5

The faculty to students ratio is good since each department have almost 3 to 6 professors and they are highly helpful be it academic or personal. Dr. S.B. Banubakode sir is one of the best and there are many of them who are really good at what they do. The course curriculum is designed by Veterinary council of India.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is for the Bachelors of Veterinary Science. One can opt for Masters in the a chosen field or file for civil services. Many graduates opt for working in clinics or veterinary related companies. The teaching methods could be improved by more innovative methods of teaching rather than using same powerpoints each year. More practical classes should be held. Internal exams are held every 2-3 monthes and the final exams are held during November to December.
