A student experience in KITSW college

First I had interest in computer science course but I didn't get seat my parents convinced me to join electronics and communication engineering by telling that I can also get software job from ece degree but in our college ece course had heavy syllabus among all. That syllabus must be changed and examination system is hard, questions are given with less choices that must be changed

I am studying now final year btech, placements have decreased a lot when compared to other colleges and previous year history. Till now Cse branch got visited 10 companies and other branches branches got 3-4 companies, since I am non Cse i didn't get many opportunities

I don't have any reservation, my yearly fees : tution fees:125000/-, other fees:7360/-, total fees is 132360/- and for my juniors it has been increased, for them total fees is above 140000/-(without scholarship), for scholarship eligible students government provide 35000/- per year

Every year we have three big college fests. A technical fest named sumshodhini, it is a 2 days fest which conducts technical workshops and events which we may win cash price. We also have kitsmun which is a model United Nations event, it has different assembly's like UNGA-general assembly, UNHRC-human rights council, Telangana assembly, Lok Sabha. This event helps to improve your communication skills. Third we have cultural event, most liked event SANSKITI but last academic year it has been cancelled due to some unfortunate reasons. We have 10 clubs in our college they are MDF-music,dance and fine arts, PMC-photography media club, NCC-national cadet corps, LC-literary club, NSS, Humanity, disciplinary, sports and games, technical club. I am member in photography media club since i had interest in photography, designing and editing.

I choose this college because when I was joining college it was after covid-19 second wave then my parents don't want to risk by sending me to far places since they had fear about lockdown and I may struck there so, KITSW is 8kms from home that's why I choose it. To get admission in out college we have to write EAMCET exam and we will get seat based on cutoff rank or through management quota

Our batch faculty to student ratio is 1:10 but for our juniors it became 1:15 since admissions has been increased. My favourite faculty is in first year Ramesh babu sir who teaches chemistry, in second year and third year Praveen kumar sir who teaches network analysis and linear control systems and ragotham reddy sir who teaches embedded systems and arm processor. Faculty I don't like is v. raju sir who is egoistic and behaves rude.
