The college curriculum activities are best.you will find some events or fest happening every other day in college.it organises umang fest which is biggest fest among colleges in all the kolkata.no doubt that besc is best in terms of curriculum.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like TCS EY PWC DELOITTE KPMG provide intership program through our college. They give project in field of marketing , advertising, account, finance. Most of them are non-paid intership but some offer stipends around 3000/month

Placement Experience

You become eligible for placement on 6th semester companies like TCS EY PWC DELOITTE visit the campus. Average package is about 3lpa. And almost 70% students gets placed after passing the exams.my plan is to finish my ca course after college

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of bhawanipur for bcom morning is around 30000-35000 for a year in which 5000 rs is refundable at the end of the year. You can get scholarship if you have scored above 90% in 12th and have applied for it in first 200 students.

Campus Life

Festivals in bhawanipur occur all round the year but umang fest which occur around December is biggest of them all. library of bhawanipur is very good they keep almost all the books you will need in your college time.

Admission

I applied for Xavier's and bhawanipur college and got acceptance from both but since I am pursuing a professional course I choose bhawanipur as it has less pressure on students.any students can get admission in bhawanipur college you just have to pass the 12th exam

Faculty

Faculty of this college are well qualified and knowledgeable but Student teacher relationship is worst.there are two internals and one semester end exam for each semester.as per my opinion all the exams are very easy

The besc life

Placement Experience:

BESC has enjoyed an extremely high placement record. The Placement Cell draws 35 to 40 companies including the likes of TCS, EY, PWC, Deloitte, Oracle, Axis Bank, KPMG and Indigo to name a few. Eligible from 1 st sem students on wards Avg package - 4lpa highest is 16lpa After getting this degree i am thinking of pursuing mba anf then getting into business

Students become eligible for campus placement in the last year which is 7th and 8 semester one can apply for internship or job from 7th and 8th semester. The highest package offered was of 11 lakh so far. And the average package is 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Like most of the Goenkans I am also thinking of pursuing CA as a profession but for now I am focusing on my BCom degree and after my BCom degree I will complete my MBA from a good reputed college.

It is a 4 year programme which offers placements. But if someone doesn't get direct placement they are still skilled enough to get a job off campus and it can go from 6 LPA to 12 LPA. If the performance is very poor they can't go to the 4th year.

I choose B.Com Hons as my subject because I want to pursue MBA in my future.The faculty of this college is amazing.They are all very helpful.Total no. of students for this course currently is 800 something and each sector has 120 students.The teachers use projectors to make us understand the concept clearly.Sem exams occur every six months and if you study properly you will score good marks for sure

Do Right Things Now For Your Future

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Out of the companies some of them are Institute of Charter Accountancy, Institute of GST ETC. They give us some packages for jobs. Like the highest package is about 50000 rupees and the lowest is 15000 rupees. Only few studets get chance in this companies. Like 5-10% students. I want to be a bank manager so i just keep my study moving on.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . True and Fair reviews about the bhawanipur college (BESC)

I have applied to many other colleges like Goenka Commerce College of Kolkata, Heritage College, St Xavier's College. I choose Bhawanipur College over them because because both Goenka College and Heritage College were far away from my house which would result in a loss of time and energy. The eligibility criteria are pretty easy. Students only need to pass in 12th standard with a decent percentage. But I cleared it easily because I got 89% in ISC. The admission process was fully online, filled an online application, and uploaded the mark sheets. Then, you have to wait for the selection lists and then pay the admission fee and other charges and get the ID card and other documents. The exams in the B.Com course are once every 6 months. Basically, there are 8 semesters spanned over 4 years and there is a semester end exam after every 6 months....Read More
