Horrible campus life

My advice would be don't end up coming into this college at least not for journalism and mass communication.

The exam structure of this college is just pathetic. According to GGSIPU, only one internal examination is to be conducted but, they will force you to give two internal examinations. They always conduct examinations without prior notice no datasheet is provided, unofficial papers are taken. results are not declared even.

Horrible placement methods, don't even think of internships they will just give the letter of internship in your hand that even just before the exams and no one will guide anything about any particular placement method or internships.

Three main events are celebrated that are ZEAL, ZEST, ANUGOONJ. ZEAL is the annual festival of LLDIMS which is celebrated every year, a special star night is organized. it is held in Chhattarpur only within college premises. ZEST is the annual festival of Lingya's Vidyapeeth which is in Faridabad, it is held there only. ANUGOONJ is the annual festival of GGSIPU.

Fees structure: At the time of counseling - 40,000. At the time of admission (1st semester) -31,000. Bus fee for a year - 36,000. 2nd-semester fees -69,000. So total year fees including a bus - 1,76,000. Expenses other than this may be around 50,000. Many times the bus is gone for servicing or for an event so you need to commute on your own.

I have not availed of any scholarship or education loan. So, I can't describe the given question. This particular information can be taken from the college itself.

Campus life is not so good, not as expected by a student its actually because of the location and all as girls are actually not safe there. Gender equality is not a rule their teachers support boys more than the girls. But, the campus is free of ragging.

Senior students are helpful. But I don't think anybody after graduating will actually keep in contact with such college.

The process of admission to the college includes a common entrance test conducted by the GGSIPU i.e CET. After this exam in two months or so, results are out. There are 3 counseling sessions and one spot round if you are a given a college in counseling round then you have to pay 40,000 for reservation of seat. and so on the process carry on. you can find details on www.ipu.ac.in

Faculty of college is helpful but sometimes they just refuse to listen and just put bonds on students. when I joined the college after a month teachers start resigning the college, even the HOD itself resigned. All the teachers are not up to the mark, new HOD just doesn't listen and always tells the student to talk to there class counselor.
