Course Curriculum Overview
I would say that the most important thing for a professional passing out BTech and pursuing for a job is his or her's communication skills, and that is what we study. Beginning from the first year we are taught communication skills that drastically improves our chances getting a job or even pursuing another degree. We are taught Design Thinking, Engeneering Ethics, Buisness making, etc which most of the universities don't even bother touching.
Internships Opportunities
Internships start in the second and third year, Many internships are held within campus and many outside the campus, University provides travel services for the same. Me being comparatively new to the university I don't have much information.
Placement Experience
Multiple companies come for placement here as this is a Hero groups university which has ties with even global players. For example in just the month of August the highest package was 34 lakhs with average of 20 lakhs. Most of the students get offered withing the universities placement programmes but some choose to go beyond and try for higher studies like Mtech. , PhD etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition Fee for Indian Students including students who are residents of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan is 3,33,000 per year without any scholarship, There are 2 types of scholarship i.e. 25% and 50% which applies on tuition fees only. Hostel Charges: Type of Hostel Accommodation and charges for Indian Students including students who are residents of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan For double occupancy room it is ?215,000 per year and for triple room occupancy it is ?2,04,000 per year, PLEASE NOTE THAT the prices are Total annual academic period charges with food (AC accommodation)
Campus Life
The campus life is the most amazing thing here, Firstly this is a ragging free campus, Tabacco free campus and the whole campus is covered by wifi of 2.5gbps. There are numerous clubs here like Photography Club, ACM, SMC, SAVERA, SIERRA, ROBOTICS, and many more. For instance SAVERA is a club which teaches the kids from neighbouring villages and helps them crack their dreams. Not only clubs, there are multiple sports, TT, Cricket, Football, Tennis, Archery, Basketball, Pool, etc. Classrooms here are smart rooms, with smartboards, AC's and top of the class faculties. Students run everything here, even the Mess services have a student body which decides what will be cooked in the mess, what more things can be made accessible for differently abled people, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are amazing here too, there are multiple hostles but for new students they are given the newest hostel Bhagat Singh Hostel. It is a 14 floored hostel with 22 rooms nearly ok each floor, also for first year students every floor has a hostel buddy who is a 3rd year student which helps your ward settle in and have someone to talk to. There is 24/7 electricity services, the university provides AC in room but the students are responsible for the electricity bill though, U can use Kettles, Irons, etc. The mess is just below the hostel so children have easy access even in rainy conditions. I would say that PG's would be overall more expensive if all the costs like eating and travelling to university are included, but still the university provides Shuttle Services for people who come from outside the university
Admission
Firstly the hostels and the mess service's, BMU has the best hostel and mess service amongst the whole NCR undoubtedly, Mess here has buffet system which allows children to fill their plates themselves as many times as they want with what things they want, Weekends we also get Chole Bhature which children crave for (atleast me). To be noted that most colleges and Universities don't even have adequate hostel and mess services. The size of batches is comparatively very small to other universities which just fill in with whatever they can with no hopes of placements. Talking about studies, if compared to most of the universities I found it best here as the number of children in a class are 60 at max which allows us to gather the knowledge which the facilities provide us instead of getting distracted by what other 100-200 kids are doing.
Faculty
B Tech CSE syllabus is focused on the study of the hardware and networking domains of computer technology. It seeks to impart knowledge on developing sustainable working models that operate on the strategic integration of computing devices with technology to meet the operational needs of the modern work environment. The B.Tech CSE course is designed to equip students with the knowledge of - Computer Architecture - Software Engineering - Processor Designs - Computer Networks Along with the skills of programming and machine learning to expand their technological horizons. The syllabus also imparts knowledge about specialized areas of study such as Artificial Intelligence The Internet Of Things Algorithm Analysis Digital Logic For the tests I would say it that this is the best university in the whole NCR, time to time quizes, mid terms and end sem examinations to keep a child focused on why he has joined the programme and doesn't wander off course.
